The Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut, United States. The team is a member of the Northeast Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Northwestern's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1969. The team plays its home games at Central Connecticut Soccer Field in New Britain, which opened in 2012 and sits 1,000. The Blue Devils are coached by David Kelly.

Charlie Hickey is an American college baseball coach. He has been the head coach of Central Connecticut since the 2000 season, leading the Blue Devils to six NCAA Tournaments. Previously, he was the head coach at Providence for three seasons (1997–1999). Providence announced it was cutting the program prior to the 1999 season, but the team won that year's Big East title and advanced to an NCAA Regional final.

The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Saint Francis Red Flash but they were unable to defend their title, losing 2–1 in the final to Central Connecticut. This was the ninth Northeast Conference tournament title for the Central Connecticut women's soccer program, seven of which have come under the direction of head coach Mick D'Arcy.

The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils, who won a tournament that was shortened to a single game in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Central Connecticut State successfully defended their title, defeating the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights 3–0 in the final. This was the twelfth Northeast Conference tournament title for the Central Connecticut women's soccer program, ten of which have come under the direction of head coach Mick D'Arcy. This was also the fourth straight title for Central Connecticut and Mick D'Arcy. As tournament champions, Central Connecticut earned the Northeast Conference's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
