Cuamba Airport( IATA : FXO, ICAO : FQCB) is an airport serving Cuamba, a city in the Niassa Province in Mozambique. [1] The airport is in the southern part of the city and is a major airport in the province of Niassa in central Mozambique.

There are no scheduled flights in or out of the city. Kaya Airlines is the major airline that comes to the city, with non-scheduled flights from Nampula.[ citation needed ]
Kaya Airlines is a Mozambican airline re-branded from Transairways and Sabin Air. The airline was established on 1991, but ceased operations afterwards. It resumed operations on 29 August 2011, flies within the country of Mozambique. Its head office is at Maputo International Airport.
Nampula is the capital city of Nampula Province in northeastern Mozambique. Also known as "The Capital of the North", Nampula is the centre of business in northern Mozambique. It has a few western-style hotels, restaurants and shopping centres. It also has a small international airport connecting to Nairobi in Kenya and Johannesburg in South Africa, and is a transport hub for local transport in northern Mozambique.
