Frederick Helsher Rath Sr. (born September 1, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who appeared in 8 games for the Chicago White Sox during the 1968 and 1969 seasons. He threw right-handed.
Rath, who attended Baylor University, was drafted by the White Sox in the 4th round of the 1965 amateur draft and made his major league debut 3 years later. Following the 1970 season he was traded to the California Angels for John Purdin, but never appeared in a major league game again.
Rath's son, Fred Rath Jr., also had a brief major league career, appearing in two games for the Colorado Rockies in 1998.

Carlton Ernest Fisk, nicknamed "Pudge" and "The Commander", is an American former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a catcher from 1969 to 1993 for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox (1981–1993). He was the first player to be unanimously voted American League Rookie of the Year (1972). Fisk is best known for "waving fair" his game-winning home run in the 12th inning of Game 6 of the 1975 World Series.

Morris Charles "Morrie" Rath was an American baseball player. After attending Swarthmore College, he played second base for the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds in the 1910s. Rath was the batter hit by Eddie Cicotte in the 1919 World Series as Cicotte's signal to gamblers that the "fix was on" in that series. In an era before on-base percentage was a valued statistic, Rath was known for an ability to get on base by drawing bases on balls. His name was often reported as Maurice Rath.
Donald James Cooper is an American former pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) who spent parts of four seasons with the Minnesota Twins (1981–1982), Toronto Blue Jays (1983) and New York Yankees (1985). He has been the pitching coach of the Chicago White Sox since July 22, 2002. Under his tutelage, both Mark Buehrle and Philip Humber pitched perfect games, and the White Sox won the 2005 World Series.
