Gurney's Inn is a Long Island oceanfront resort, in Montauk, New York.

U.S. President Richard Nixon wrote his acceptance speech at the Skippers Cottage at Gurney's Inn. [1]

The oceanfront resort includes a seawater pool [2] and group accommodations for weddings, business meetings and other events.

Gurney's Inn was described on the Travel Channel show Hotel Impossible on April 9, 2012, as not keeping up with the times. [3]

In 2015, the resort underwent major renovation, retrofitting and took the name Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa. It now features renovated rooms and a large spa. [4] It is the only licensee on the East End allowing it to function as an on ocean beach restaurant.

In 2017, Gurneys Resorts opened their first property outside of Long Island, Gurney's Newport Resort & Marina, in the former Hyatt Regency. It is located on Goat Island in Newport, Rhode Island.

In 2018, the resort acquired the Montauk Yacht Club Resort and Marina, to be renamed as "Gurney's Star Island Resort & Marina". [5] [6]

Watch Hill is an affluent coastal neighborhood and census-designated place in the town of Westerly, Rhode Island. The population was 154 at the 2010 census. It sits at the most-southwestern point in Rhode Island. It came to prominence in the late 19th and early 20th century as an exclusive summer resort, with wealthy families building sprawling Victorian-style "cottages" along the peninsula. Watch Hill is characterized by The New York Times as a community "with a strong sense of privacy and of discreetly used wealth," in contrast with "the overpowering castles of the very rich" in nearby Newport.

Petit St Vincent, known locally as PSV, is an island 40 miles (64 km) south of St. Vincent in the Grenadine islands. It is the southernmost island in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Alderbrook Resort & Spa, aka Alderbrook Inn or Alderbrook, is a hotel located in Union, WA on the southern shores of Hood Canal. Approximately two hours west of Seattle, Alderbrook has views of nearby Olympic National Park and Mount Washington. Alderbrook opened in 1913 as a group of tent cabins with wood stoves and has been expanded and remodeled numerous times. Today the hotel has 77 guest rooms and 16 cottages, as well as a restaurant, meeting rooms, saltwater pool, spa, two marinas, and two retail spaces.
