John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show is a stand-up comedy television series that aired on Comedy Central in the United States. Hosted by British-American comedian John Oliver, the show featured new material by both up-and-coming and established comedians. Each episode featured four performers including the headliner, with Oliver usually opening the show with a short set.

Oliver won three Primetime Emmy Awards for writing for The Daily Show and was the show's guest host for an eight-week period in 2013. The article also served as inspiration for the 2002 film National Lampoon's Van Wilder. Kreischer has served as host of the television series Hurt Bert on FX as well as Bert the Conqueror and Trip Flip on Travel Channel. He is slated to appear in The Machine, a comedy film based on his life.

In 2009, iTunes named Kasher "Best New Comic" and his comedy album Everyone You Know Is Going to Die, and Then You Are! was ranked one of the top 20 comedy albums on iTunes that same year. Hosted by comedian Gabriel Iglesias, who is best known for his stand-up specials, the show features new material by both himself and other comedians. Each episode opens with a stand up by Iglesias before several other comedians perform, each of whom Iglesias usually introduces with an encore. The show debuted on October 6, 2011, and is executive produced by Iglesias. The program features Gabriel Iglesias as an emcee features new material and introduces two or three lesser known comedians looking for a big break on television. Each comedian presents a short set of jokes, which is edited to last about five minutes on the airing of the show.
