Ligue Interzone de hockey mineur BC Rive Nord is an ice hockey league Based in the Quebec Metropolitan Area. It regroups many levels of hockey from Atom to Junior. It has two junior levels, Junior "A" (Junior "C" Canada-Wide) and Junior "B" (Junior "D" Canada-Wide).

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League. The league includes teams in the provinces of Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The current president of the QMJHL is Gilles Courteau.

There are now 9 teams playing in the league in 5 different regions of the province. Until 2012, the league was known as the Richelieu Junior AA Hockey League.
