Major League Baseball on Compass Media Networks was a weekly presentation of Major League Baseball games (specifically, Saturday games involving the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) on the Compass Media radio network. For the 2013 season, Compass acquired rights to select Tampa Bay Rays home games to increase their MLB coverage.

Compass Media Networks is an American radio network. The company launched in January 2009. It is owned by former Westwood One CEO and former COO of Connoisseur Media, Peter Kosann. The company focuses on radio and offers representation and marketing services for national radio.

The 2013 Major League Baseball season started on March 31 with a Sunday night game between the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros. Opening Day for most clubs was a day later on April 1. The regular season ended on September 30, extended one day for a one-game playoff between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Texas Rangers to decide the second American League Wild Card winner.

On May 15, 2012, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim signed a radio rights deal with syndicator Compass Media to distribute 25 games [1] to a nationwide audience, in a game-of-the-week format. [2] These games would be produced separately from the KLAA broadcasts, and would feature veteran play-by-play men Chris Carrino and Steve Quis, with former New York Mets general manager and current SiriusXM sports talk show host Steve Phillips and former MLB player Darryl Hamilton as color commentators. The Major League Baseball Game of the Week (GOTW) is the de facto title for nationally televised coverage of regular season Major League Baseball games. The Game of the Week has traditionally aired on Saturday afternoons. When the national networks began televising national games of the week, it opened the door for a national audience to see particular clubs. While most teams were broadcast, emphasis was always on the league leaders and the major market franchises that could draw the largest audience.

KLAA is a commercial AM radio station licensed to the city of Orange, California, and broadcasting to the Greater Los Angeles Area. It is owned by LAA 1, LLC, composed of the owners of the Los Angeles Angels baseball team, held separately from the baseball club. Studios and offices are located on the grounds of Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The transmitter in Chino, California, off McCarty Road.

Many of the games, if not all, would air on such stations as WFAN New York City (radio flagship of the Mets), WTEM Washington, D.C. (a Baltimore Orioles affiliate), WQXI Atlanta, WYGM Orlando, and KFNC Houston, WHK in Cleveland, and KNEW in San Francisco.

WFAN, is a radio station licensed to New York City and is owned and operated by Entercom. WFAN's studios are located in the combined Entercom facility in the Hudson Square neighborhood of Manhattan and its transmitter is located on High Island in the Bronx. Its 50,000-watt clear channel signal can be heard at night throughout much of the eastern United States and Canada. WFAN is also heard on WFAN-FM.

WQXI, "Radio Korea", is a radio station licensed to the city of Atlanta broadcasting at a frequency of 790 kHz. The station has a power of 28,000 watts in the daytime, and 1,000 watts at night. WQXI's signal is non-directional during the daytime, and directional at night. As of 2009, the station broadcast in the IBiquity HD Radio AM hybrid digital mode during daytime hours.
