The Michigan Wolverines women's tennis team represents the University of Michigan in National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I competition. College women's tennis became a varsity sport at the University of Michigan in 1973. Ronni Bernstein has been the head coach since 2007. The Michigan Wolverines comprise 29 varsity sports teams at the University of Michigan. These teams compete in the NCAA's Division I and in the Big Ten Conference in all sports except women's water polo, which competes in the NCAA inter-divisional Collegiate Water Polo Association. Team colors are maize and blue, though these are different shades of "maize" and "blue" from those used by the university at large. The winged helmet is a recognized icon of Michigan Athletics.
The Michigan Wolverines women's gymnastics team represents the University of Michigan and competes in the Big Ten Conference. Under head coach Bev Plocki, the team has won 27 Big Ten championships and advanced to 31 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, including sixteen consecutive appearances from 1993 to 2008. In 2021, the Wolverines won the program's first-ever team national title.
The 1926–27 Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team represented the University of Michigan in intercollegiate college basketball during the 1926–27 season. The team played its home games at Yost Arena on the school's campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The team won the Western Conference Championship outright. The team was led by captain Ed Chambers and All-American Bennie Oosterbaan.
The Michigan Wolverines men's lacrosse team is the intercollegiate men's lacrosse program representing the University of Michigan. The school competes in the Big Ten Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Prior to joining the NCAA, Michigan competed as a club-varsity program at the Division I level of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) in the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA), where the Wolverines secured three MCLA national championships and won 11 consecutive conference titles. The team is coached by Kevin Conry.
Kimberly Ann Barnes Arico is an American women's basketball coach and the current head coach of the Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team. Previously, she was head coach of the St. John's University women's basketball team. She was inducted into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in 2020.

Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman is an American professional basketball player for Darüşşafaka Lassa of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines. Abdur-Rahkman played high school basketball for Allentown Central Catholic High School in his hometown of Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he was a four-time Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Class AAA All-State selection.

On March 12, 2020, the Big Ten Conference cancelled the remainder of all winter and spring sports seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Wolverines, led by head coach Carol Hutchins in her thirty-first season, played their home games at Alumni Field in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Wolverines finished the season with a 60–8 record, including 21–2 in conference play. The Wolverines won the 2015 Big Ten Conference softball tournament and qualified for the NCAA Division I softball tournament. They advanced to the finals of the Women's College World Series for the first time since 2005, where they lost to Florida.
