Nelson Flavio Debenedet (born December 31, 1947 in Cordenons, Italy and raised in Copper Cliff, Ontario) is an Italian-born Canadian retired ice hockey forward. He was the first Italian-born player in the NHL.
Debenedet began his National Hockey League career with the Detroit Red Wings, playing his last season at top level with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Thomas Patrick Barrasso is an American professional ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 18 seasons. He began his time in the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres, who selected him fifth overall in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft out of high school. He was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1988, where he would best be remembered and spend the majority of his career. He spent parts of 12 seasons with the Penguins, and was a Stanley Cup champion in 1991 and 1992. After being traded to the Ottawa Senators in March 2000 and sitting out the 2000–01 season, his final two seasons were split playing for the Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs, and St. Louis Blues. He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009 and has been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2023.
Michael Zanier is a Canadian-born Italian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played extensively in Europe and in North American minor leagues.
Steve Passmore is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques as their ninth-round pick in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. He played 93 games in the NHL between 1998 and 2004 with the Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhawks, and Los Angeles Kings. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1994 to 2007, was spent in the minor leagues and in Europe.
Christopher William Hajt is a Canadian-born American former ice hockey defenceman. He played 6 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Edmonton Oilers and Washington Capitals during the 2000–01 and 2003–04 seasons. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1998 to 2008, was mainly spent in the minor leagues. After his playing career Hajt became a coach, and has been an Assistant Coach with the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League since 2019. Hajt's father, Bill Hajt, also played in the NHL.
