Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) is a major command (MAJCOM) of the United States Air Force (USAF). AFMC was created on July 1, 1992, through the amalgamation of the former Air Force Logistics Command (AFLC) and the former Air Force Systems Command (AFSC).
General Lester L. Lyles is a retired four-star general in the United States Air Force (USAF). He served as Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, and Commander, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. After retirement from the USAF in 2003, he became a company director for General Dynamics, DPL Inc., KBR, Inc., Precision Castparts Corp., MTC Technologies, Battelle Memorial Institute and USAA. Lyles is also a trustee of Analytic Services and a managing partner of Four Seasons Ventures, LLC.

As Air Force Materiel Command's commander, he leads the command's 74,000 Air Force and civilian personnel, manage $59 billion annually in research, development, test and evaluation. He also oversees the acquisition management services and logistics support which is required to develop, procure and sustain Air Force weapon systems. Hoffman assumed his command on November 21, 2008. He retired from the Air Force on July 1, 2012.

Major General Paul J. Fletcher is a retired senior United States Air Force officer, who served as Vice Commander, 3rd Air Force, from 2006 to 2007. His experience includes airlift operations; programming; acquisition management; joint planning for modeling and simulation support for training; and standing up the C-130 Weapons Instructor Course. Major General John Tree is an American business owner and a major general in the United States Air Force Reserve, currently serving as the Senior Reservist to the Air Force Chief of Staff at the Pentagon in Washington DC. In this role he assists the Chief with the organization, training and equipping of 685,000 active-duty, Guard, Reserve and civilian forces serving in the United States and overseas. Previously he was the Senior Reservist to the Director for Logistics, Engineering and Security Cooperation (J4), Headquarters, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. In that capacity he assisted the Director with the planning, coordination, and integration of strategic Logistics, Engineering and Security Cooperation in support of U.S. National Defense Strategy in order to build U.S. and partner capacities to accomplish the USINDOPACOM mission across the Asia-Pacific theater. For his work in the Pacific, General Tree was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal.
Judith Ann Fedder is a retired United States Air Force lieutenant general who served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters United States Air Force, The Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
