Early years
Born in Dallas, Williams was an option quarterback as a prep and a three-year letterman at DeSoto High School (DeSoto, Texas) outside of Dallas. A two-time All-District 4-5A selection and his team’s back-to-back offensive most valuable player who was also a captain for both his junior and senior seasons. He led his team to an 8-3 record his senior year when he amassed 506 yards rushing on 123 attempts, while passing for 215 yards and also returning eight punts for 108 yards and accounting for eight total touchdowns. He played six different positions during his high school career and was named the team’s most valuable player following his junior season. He also participated in track, where he lettered three times, competing in the 4 x 100-meter relay, the 4 x 200-meter relay (winning the state championship in 2004), 110-meter hurdles, long jump, triple jump, and the high jump.
College career
Williams was a four-year letter winner who appeared in 50 games during his collegiate career at Colorado. He started 20 games over the course of his four years and was voted a team captain by his teammates prior to his senior season in 2008. He finished his college career tied for eighth all-time in school history with former CU and current Denver Broncos tight end Daniel Graham in receptions with 106 and 17th in receiving yards with 1,099. He became one of only nine players to have ever totaled both 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards for the Buffaloes.
He had his best statistical season as a senior in 2008 when he established career highs in catches (30), yards (322) and touchdowns (2). He played in all 13 games, starting five, as a junior in 2007, collecting 29 catches for 294 yards. He appeared in all 12 games in 2006 with seven starts, totaled 19 catches for 242 yards and one touchdown. He participated in all 13 games during his first season of full-time action in 2005, making 28 catches for 241 yards as a redshirt freshman. He received a medical redshirt in 2004 after playing in the season’s first two games but breaking bones in both of his hands.
Joseph Christopher Toledo is a former American football offensive tackle. He was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington.
Logan Payne is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was originally signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Minnesota.
George Farmer is a former American football running back. He graduated in 2011 from Junípero Serra High School in Gardena, California, and entered the NFL draft after his redshirt junior year at USC.
DuJuan LaTroy Harris is a former American football running back. He played college football at Troy, and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011.
Christopher Douglas Matthews is an American former professional wide receiver. Matthews was undrafted out of college in 2011, and signed with the Cleveland Browns. He then played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for two seasons, winning the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award in his first season. Matthews then signed with the Seattle Seahawks where he recovered a critical onside kick during the 2014 NFC Championship Game, and caught four passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in Super Bowl XLIX. Matthews played college football for Los Angeles Harbor College and the University of Kentucky.
Luke Michael Willson is a Canadian former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL).
Brandon Jamal Bostick is a former American football tight end. He played college football at Newberry. Bostick was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He was also member of the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets. He is most well known for his gaffe on an onside kick in the 2014 NFC Championship game that allowed the Seattle Seahawks to make a late fourth-quarter comeback and defeat the Packers.

Daniel Patrick Etling is an American football quarterback for the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League (UFL). He played college football at Purdue and LSU, and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Etling has also been a member of the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, BC Lions, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Michigan Panthers.
Kenny Bell is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Nebraska and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Malcolm Jamaine Johnson is a former American football fullback. He played college football at Mississippi State and was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers.
Dominique Williams is a former American football running back. He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played college football at Wagner College.
Amara Darboh is a Sierra Leonean-born former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft. He played college football at Michigan. A native of Sierra Leone, Darboh was orphaned during the Sierra Leone Civil War and moved to Iowa at age seven. He enrolled at the University of Michigan and was the Wolverines' leading receiver with 58 catches in 2016.
Lance Lenoir is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Western Illinois.
Malik Turner is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Illinois, and was originally signed by the Seattle Seahawks in 2018 as an undrafted free agent. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys.
Marjahn Penny Mathias Hart is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football for the Georgia State Panthers and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts after the 2019 NFL draft.
Patrick Carr is an American football running back who plays for the Seamen Milano in the European League of Football. Carr signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. He has also been a member of the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes and the Houston Cougars.
