The Players All-Star Classic was a postseason college football all-star game, the only edition of which took place in 2012. The game was played in Little Rock, Arkansas, at War Memorial Stadium and was telecast by Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast and Cox Sports Television. [1] The game provided seniors, from any level of college football, an opportunity to be seen by scouts in advance of the 2012 NFL Draft. [1]

War Memorial Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas. The stadium is primarily used for American football and is the home stadium for the Arkansas Baptist Buffaloes, Catholic High School Rockets, Little Rock Rangers and the secondary home stadium for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. The Arkansas State Red Wolves have also played there in the past. The stadium also hosts the Delta Classic, an annual football game between the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions and the Grambling State Tigers, as well as hosting the Arkansas Activities Association high school championship game in all classification.

Martin Ashley Bayless is a former American football cornerback/safety who played 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Bowling Green State University. After retiring from the NFL in 1998, he joined the Buffalo Bills as a Front Office Executive in 2000. He transitioned into coaching in the college ranks, and he has since held jobs with several professional football organizations.
Kurt Schottenheimer is an American former football coach who was a position coach and coordinator at the college and professional levels for almost 40 years. During his National Football League (NFL) career, Schottenheimer coached with the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions, and finished as the head coach for the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League.
The Senior Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game played each January in Mobile, Alabama, which showcases the best NFL Draft prospects of those players who have completed their college eligibility. First played in 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida, the game moved to Mobile's Ladd–Peebles Stadium the next year. Produced by the non-profit Mobile Arts & Sports Association, the game is also a charitable fund-raiser benefiting various local and regional organizations with over US$5.9 million in donations over its history.
The Blue–Gray Football Classic was an annual American college football all-star game held in Alabama, usually in late December and often on Christmas Day. The brainchild of Alabama college football legend Champ Pickens, the contest began in 1939 and was held annually through 2001, with the exception of 1943 due to World War II.
The Magnolia Gridiron All-Star Classic was an annual post-season college football all-star game held in December 2005 and 2006. The game was organized by Darry Alton, who previously helped found the Las Vegas All-American Classic, in view of the discontinuation of the Blue–Gray Football Classic and the Gridiron Classic, in order to provide players from lesser-known and lesser-televised schools with a chance to impress NFL scouts.
The Las Vegas All-American Classic was an annual post-season college football all-star game that was played in January from 2002 to 2006. After taking two years off due to lack of sponsorship, there were plans for the game to return in 2009 as the North–South All-American Classic, but it was postponed and has not been played since.
Ryan Joseph Kalil is a former American football center who spent his entire 12-year career for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at USC, where he was a member of two national championship teams, was named a first-team All-American, and won the 2006 Morris Trophy. He was drafted by the Panthers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Patrick De'mon Peterson Jr. is an American football cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in the country, the Jim Thorpe Award as the best defensive back, and was unanimously recognized as an All-American. He was selected fifth overall by the Cardinals in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Peterson has been invited to the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons in the NFL.
Janoris Jermain Jenkins is an American football cornerback for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of North Alabama and University of Florida and was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Alacce O'Brien Schofield is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and played for them for three seasons. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks during their Super Bowl XLVIII championship season and the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football at Wisconsin.
Prince Kelechi Amukamara is an American football cornerback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Nebraska, and earned unanimous All-American honors. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, and was a member of the Giants' Super Bowl XLVI championship team as a rookie against his hometown team, the New England Patriots. Amukamara has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chandler James Jones is an American football outside linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). Jones was selected by the New England Patriots with the 21st overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Syracuse. He is the younger brother of current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and of former National Football League (NFL) player Arthur Jones.
Kawann Arcell Short is an American football defensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Panthers in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played college football at Purdue.
Darryll James "D. J." Foster is an American football running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona State University. He signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He was a member of the Super Bowl LI winning Patriots, though was inactive for the game itself.
