Donald Ray Cosey (born February 15,1956) is an American former professional baseball player. He played for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball during the 1980 season. He also played for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan in 1981.

Michael Jack Schmidt is an American former professional baseball third baseman who played his entire 18-season career in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies. Schmidt was a 12-time All-Star and a three-time winner of the National League (NL) Most Valuable Player award (MVP),and he was known for his combination of power hitting and strong defense. As a hitter,he compiled 548 home runs and 1,595 runs batted in (RBIs),and led the NL in home runs eight times and in RBIs four times. As a fielder,Schmidt won the National League Gold Glove Award for third basemen ten times. Schmidt was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995 and is widely considered to be the greatest third baseman in baseball history.

Rodney Cline Carew is a Panamanian former professional baseball player and coach. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a first baseman,second baseman and designated hitter from 1967 to 1985 for the Minnesota Twins and the California Angels. The most accomplished contact hitter in Twins history,he won the 1977 AL Most Valuable Player Award,setting a Twins record with a .388 batting average. Carew appeared in 18 straight All-Star Games and led the AL in hits three times,with his 239 hits in 1977 being the twelfth most in a season at the time. He won seven AL batting titles,the second most AL batting titles in history behind Ty Cobb,and on July 12,2016,the AL batting title was renamed to the Rod Carew American League batting title.

Edward Trowbridge Collins Sr.,nicknamed "Cocky",was an American professional baseball player,manager and executive. He played as a second baseman in Major League Baseball from 1906 to 1930 for the Philadelphia Athletics and Chicago White Sox. A graduate of Columbia University,Collins holds major league career records in several categories and is among the top few players in several other categories. In 1925,Collins became just the sixth person to join the 3,000 hit club –and the last for the next 17 seasons. His 47 career home runs are the fewest of anyone in it. Collins is the only non-Yankee to win five or more World Series titles with the same club as a player. He is also the only player to have been a member of all five World Series championships won by the Athletics during the franchise's time in Philadelphia.

The first Afro-Latino in the major leagues and the first black player in White Sox history,as a 1951 rookie he was one of the first Latin Americans to play in an MLB All-Star Game.
Timothy Raines Sr.,nicknamed "Rock",is an American professional baseball coach and former player. He played as a left fielder in Major League Baseball for six teams from 1979 to 2002 and was best known for his 13 seasons with the Montreal Expos. A seven-time All-Star,four-time stolen base champion,and National League batting champion,Raines is regarded as one of the best leadoff hitters and baserunners in baseball history. In 2013,Raines began working in the Toronto Blue Jays organization as a roving outfield and baserunning instructor. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017.
