The Slovenia women's national handball team is the national handball team of Slovenia and takes part in international team handball competitions.

The European Women's Handball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national handball teams of Europe, and takes place every two years. In addition to crowning the European champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games and World Championship. As of December 2022, the only teams that have ever won the championship are Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Montenegro and France.
The Japan national handball team is the national handball team of Japan and is controlled by the Japan Handball Association.

The team's successes includes winning the Balkan Championship in 1982, and runners-up at the 1970 Summer Universidade along with bronze at the 1980 Summer Olympics. The national team's biggest success came in 1981, winning the European title at home in Sofia.
The Tunisia men's national volleyball team, nicknamed Les Aigles de Carthage , represents Tunisia in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. The team has won a medal in almost every continental championships they participated since 1967. Eleven-time African Championship winners, Tunisia have participated in seven Olympics, with a best finish of ninth at Los Angeles 1984.
The South Korea women's national handball team is the national team of South Korea. Since 1984 the Korean team has not only participated constantly in Olympic Games but also ranked among the top four nations every time until 2012. Korea grabbed the gold medal in 1988 and 1992, won the silver medal in 1984, 1996, 2004 and took bronze medal in 2008. They have earned two World Championship medals so far: In 1995, they also won the World Championship title in Austria/Hungary 1995 World Women's Handball Championship, they came off third to secure the bronze medal at the Croatia in 2003 World Women's Handball Championship. It is a twelve time Asian Champion, the tournament has been won by any other nation only twice.

The 2016 FIBA U20 Women's European Championship Division B was the 12th edition of the Division B of the Women's European basketball championship for national under-20 teams. It was held in Podgorica, Montenegro, from the 9th to the 17th of July 2016. Slovenia women's national under-20 basketball team won the tournament.
