Tony Fiore (born August 7, 1962) is a Canadian-Italian retired professional ice hockey center.

Career

After scoring 82 goals and 110 assists in 147 games with the QMJHL's Montreal Juniors between 1980 and 1982, Fiore was selected 165nd overall by the Boston Bruins at the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. He never played in NHL. [1]

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League sports league

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues which constitute the Canadian Hockey League. The league comprises teams across the provinces of Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Since the departure of the Lewiston Maineiacs from Lewiston, Maine, the QMJHL is the only one of the three member leagues of the CHL that does not currently have teams located in the United States. The current president of the QMJHL is Gilles Courteau.

American Hockey League ice hockey league in the United States

The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team. When NHL teams do not have an AHL affiliate, players are assigned to AHL teams affiliated with other NHL teams. Twenty-seven AHL teams are located in the United States and the remaining four are in Canada. The league offices are located in Springfield, Massachusetts, and its current president is David Andrews.

The International Hockey League (IHL) was a minor professional ice hockey league in the United States and Canada that operated from 1945 to 2001. The IHL served as the National Hockey League's alternate farm system to the American Hockey League (AHL). After 56 years of operation, financial instability led to the league's demise. Six of the surviving seven teams merged into the AHL in 2001.

Hershey Bears ice hockey team

The Hershey Bears are an American professional ice hockey team based in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The current Bears club has played in the American Hockey League since the 1938–39 season making it the longest continuously operating member club of the league still playing in its original city.

Later he played most in Italian Serie A with HC Auronzo (1984-1986), Alleghe Hockey (1986-1987), HC Milano Saima (1987-1992), SG Milano Saima (1993-1995) and HC Milano 24 (1995-1996). He won a scudetto with HC Milano Saima in year 1991. [2]

HC Alleghe is a professional ice hockey team in Alleghe, Italy. The team plays in the country's top division, Serie A1. The team was the surprise winners of the 1992-93 Alpenliga. The team plays at Stadio Alvise De Toni and are coached by former NHL player Steve McKenna

Hockey Club Milano was an ice hockey team in Milan, Italy.

He was a member of the Italian national team at the Group B World Championships in 1989 and 1991.

The Italian men's national ice hockey team is the national ice hockey team of Italy, and is controlled by the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio (FISG), a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation.

After his retirement during the summer 1996, he was hired as General Manager of HC Milano 24, but president Quintavalle fired Fiore due to lack of result in January 1997. [2]
