HTC is the original design manufacturer for many Android and Windows Phone-based smartphones and PDAs. Brands that market or previously marketed HTC-manufactured products include Dell, Fujitsu Siemens, HP/Compaq, i-mate, Krome, O2, Palm, Sharp Corporation, and UTStarcom. HTC also manufactures ultra-mobile PCs, and is also the manufacturer of the Nexus One and Nexus 9, a smartphone and tablet designed and branded by Google, respectively.

HTC Desire smartphone developed by HTC

The HTC Desire is the first smartphone of the Desire series developed by HTC. It was announced on 16 February 2010 and released in Europe and Australia in the second quarter of the same year. The HTC Desire was HTC's third flagship phone running Android, 2.1 Eclair which can be upgraded to 2.2 Froyo or 2.3 Gingerbread. Internally it bears a strong resemblance to the Nexus One, but differs in some features.

A back-illuminated sensor, also known as backside illumination sensor, is a type of digital image sensor that uses a novel arrangement of the imaging elements to increase the amount of light captured and thereby improve low-light performance.

8K resolution

8K resolution refers to any screen or display with around 8000 pixels width. 8K UHD, also known as Full UHD, FUHD, or Full Ultra HD is the current highest ultra high definition television (UHDTV) resolution in digital television, digital cinematography and digital signage. 8K in 8K UHD refers to the horizontal resolution of 7,680 pixels, forming the total image dimensions of (7680×4320), also known as 4320p, which refers to the vertical resolution.

HTC Desire Z smartphone model

The HTC Desire Z is a smartphone developed by the HTC Corporation that was announced on 15 September 2010 and was released in Europe and Canada in November 2010, following a number of delays related to Google's quality assurance tests. The HTC Desire Z features similar specifications to the HTC Desire and the HTC Desire HD but is a slider. The design of the HTC Desire Z has capacitive face buttons rather than the mechanical ones the HTC Desire features.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 is a 20.2 megapixel compact camera, part of the Cyber-shot line of digital cameras made by Sony and announced on 6 June 2012. It was named as the "European Advanced Compact Camera for 2012–2013" by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) and one of the 'Best Inventions of 2012' by TIME.

HTC One (M8)

The HTC One (M8) is an Android or Windows smartphone manufactured and marketed by HTC. Following a number of leaks which occurred during the months prior, the second-generation One was officially unveiled in a press conference on March 25, 2014, and released the same day by Verizon Wireless at retail, and by other Canadian and United States carriers for online orders prior to its wider retail availability in mid-April.

The HTC Desire Eye is an Android smartphone manufactured by HTC. The phone was announced on 8 October 2014 and was released on 7 November 2014 exclusively for AT&T in the United States and exclusively for Three in the United Kingdom. It is known as the selfie phone because the front camera has the same quality of imaging as the rear camera.

HTC One M9 HTC One

The HTC One M9 is an Android smartphone manufactured and marketed by HTC. The third-generation One was officially unveiled in a press conference at Mobile World Congress on March 1, 2015 and it was released to wide retail availability on April 10, 2015. It is the successor to HTC One (M8).

Sony α7R II Mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera

The Sony α7R II is a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. It was announced by Sony on 10 June 2015. At the time of its release, it had the largest backside illuminated CMOS sensor of any camera in the market, the previous largest being used in the Samsung NX1 released only months earlier. The camera was released 5 August 2015. Some of its most notable features are the 42 megapixels and the 399 on-phase detection points.

HTC RE Camera

The HTC RE Camera is a camera introduced by HTC in 2014. It offers a 16MP sensor supporting 1080p video capture, intrusion protection, and is able to connect with smartphones through a dedicated application. Reception to the camera has been mostly positive.
