The Triad United Aces are a USASA women's soccer team based in North Carolina that have made repeated appearances in USASA national tournaments.

2007

The Aces participated in the 2007 National Women's Amateur and made it all the way to the final, where they ultimately lost to the New York Athletic Club by a score of 2-4. [1]

The USASA National Women's Amateur is an American women's soccer tournament run by the United States Adult Soccer Association. It began in 1980 and was the top-level national tournament for women's soccer in the United States until the formation of the Women's Open in 1996.

New York Athletic Club is an American women’s soccer team, founded in 2005. The team is a member of the Women's Premier Soccer League, the second tier of women’s soccer in the United States and Canada. The team plays in the North Division of the East Conference.

2008

The Aces failed to qualify for the 2008 National Women's Amateur. In Region III qualifying, the Aces beat the Houston Challengers 4-3 before losing to the Turbo D'Feeters 1-5 the next day. [2] The D'Feeters would go on to win the Amateur title.

The Turbo D'Feeters are a USASA women's soccer team based in north Texas that have made repeated appearances in USASA national tournaments. The team also has a youth system participating in the Elite Clubs National League.

2009

The Aces failed to qualify for the 2009 National Women's Cup. In Region III qualifying, the Aces lost to the Houston Challengers 1-3 before beating Lynch's Irish Pub 3-0 two days later. [3]

The 2009 USASA National Women's Cup was the 14th edition of the annual national soccer championship, won by the Chicago Eclipse Select with a 3-1 victory over the New York Athletic Club. The Eclipse beat NYAC in the semifinals of the 2008 Women's Amateur the previous year as well before losing to the Turbo D'Feeters in the Amateur final.

2010

Region III qualifying for the 2010 National Women's Cup increased from three teams to six, with the other five teams being Dallas Premier, Houston Challengers, AFC Aces, Georgia Cougars, and Louisiana Mudbugs. Play was divided into two groups of three, and once again the Aces finished as runner-up in their group, failing to qualify for the regional final. [4]

The 2010 USASA National Women's Cup was the 15th edition of the annual national soccer championship, won by the previous season's runners-up New York Athletic Club (NYAC). They beat Dallas Premier 2-0 in overtime in the final.

2011

Three other teams joined the Aces in attempting to qualify for the 2011 National Women's Cup: the AFC Aces, the Central SC Cobras, and FC Austin. The Aces won their semifinal and then beat the AFC Aces to qualify for the national semifinals of the 2011 Women's Cup. [5] In the semifinals, the Aces lost to Sparta United WSC by a score of 0-3. The 2011 USASA National Women's Cup was the 16th edition of the annual national soccer championship, won by the St. Louis powerhouse J.B. Marine S.C. in an overimte 2-1 victory over Sparta United WSC of Salt Lake City. This was J.B. Marine's sixth title over all competitions.
