Virginia's 63rd House of Delegates district elects one of 100 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates, the lower house of the state's bicameral legislature. District 63 represents the city of Petersburg as well as part of the city of Hopewell and parts of the counties of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, and Prince George. The seat is currently held by Kim Taylor. [1]

Taylor represents parts of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, and Prince George counties, taking in the city of Petersburg and parts of Hopewell.

Nomination primaries held through the Department of Elections were held June 20, 2023. These will be the first elections held following redistricting as a result of the 2020 census.
