The Wu Chung House (Chinese :胡忠大廈) is a 40-floor [1] skyscraper located on 213 Queen's Road East, in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong. It was completed in 1992. [2]

Traditional Chinese characters

Traditional Chinese characters are Chinese characters in any character set that does not contain newly created characters or character substitutions performed after 1946. The building houses a number of important Hong Kong institutions, notably the offices of The Hong Kong Competition Commission, Hong Kong Department of Health, Hopewell Holdings and the Hongkong Post. It is named after Wu Chung, the father of current Hopewell Holdings chairman Gordon Wu.

Hong Kong's Department of Health is responsible for healthcare policies and the provision of basic healthcare services and established in 1939. The public hospitals are managed by the department's Hospital Authority in 1991 to 1994. The department reports to the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau.

Hopewell Holdings Limited, established on 17 October 1972, is a Hong Kong-listed infrastructure and property firm headed by Sir Gordon Wu.

Hongkong Post department of the Hong Kong Government

Hongkong Post is a government department of Hong Kong responsible for postal services, though operated as a trading fund. Founded in 1841, it was known as Postal Department or Post Office before the handover of Hong Kong in 1997. It has been a sub-member of the Universal Postal Union since 1877, and is a separate entity from China Post.

The lobby is located on the first floor and is accessed via an escalator from the outside.

Tung Chung line MTR metro line

The Tung Chung line is one of the eleven lines of the MTR system in Hong Kong, linking Tung Chung with Hong Kong Island. A part of the Tung Chung line was built along with the Kap Shui Mun Bridge and the Tsing Ma Bridge. The line currently travels through eight stations in 27 minutes along its route. The line is indicated by the colour orange.

St. Paul's Co-educational College, is an Anglican secondary school located at 33 MacDonnell Road, Mid-levels, Hong Kong, founded in 1915.
