"Serious" is a song by English new wave band Duran Duran. It was released on 5 November 1990 as the second single from their sixth studio album, Liberty (1990), reaching number three in Italy and number 48 in the United Kingdom.
"Let Me Love You" is a song by American singer Mario, released as a single on October 4, 2004, from his second studio album, Turning Point (2004). The song was written by Ne-Yo, Kameron Houff and Scott Storch, and produced by Storch. The remix of the song, also produced by Storch, contains rapped verses from Jadakiss and T.I. The song garnered Mario a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 2006 and became a top-10 hit worldwide, reaching number one in the United States, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.
"So Sick" is a song by American singer-songwriter Ne-Yo. It was written by Ne-Yo, Mikkel S. Eriksen, and Tor Erik Hermansen for his debut studio album In My Own Words (2006), while production was helmed by Eriksen and Hermansen under their production moniker Stargate. The song was released as the second single from the album on November 21, 2005. "So Sick" peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the UK Singles Chart, where it beat "Nature's Law" by Embrace to number one.
"One by One" is a song by American singer Cher. Written by Anthony Griffiths of English rock band the Real People, it had initially been recorded by the band as a single in 1987, when they were signed to Polydor Records and called Jo Jo and the Real People. In 1989, Irish singer Johnny Logan recorded a cover for his album Mention My Name and released it as a double A-sided single, which reached the top 20 of the Irish Singles Chart.
Kitty-Yo is a German record label specializing in quirky pop and electronica. It was founded in 1994 in Berlin following the creation of an independent zine of the same name. The label began by publishing music for Surrogat, Patrick Wagner's group project, and got the attention of John Peel and Steve Albini.
"Not Over You Yet" is a song by American singer Diana Ross from her 20th studio album, Every Day Is a New Day (1999). It was written by 'Zavy Kid' Malik Pendleton and Kenneth Kelly and produced by the former, Brian Rawling, and Mark Taylor. EMI and Ross Records released the song as the second single from the album on October 25, 1999. It was her final hit single of the 1990s in the United Kingdom, peaking at number nine on the UK Singles Chart. The single also reached number six in Hungary, and number 67 in Germany, and number 74 in the Netherlands. A music video was produced for promotional purposes. Ross performed the song on the ITV special An Audience with Diana Ross, recreating elements of the music video with choreography.
"Setting Sun" is a song by English electronic music duo the Chemical Brothers featuring vocals from Noel Gallagher of Britpop band Oasis, who also co-wrote the track with duo members Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. He is not mentioned on the front cover, only in the credit list. It was released as a single on 30 September 1996 from the Chemical Brothers' second album, Dig Your Own Hole (1997). Despite receiving little airplay in the United Kingdom, it sold 99,000 copies during its first week of release and debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart in October 1996.
"Ooh Aah... Just a Little Bit" is the debut solo single of Australian singer Gina G. The song was written by British songwriters Simon Caldwell and Steve Rodway, and released on 25 March 1996 as the first single from her debut album, Fresh! (1997). It reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart almost two months later and was also a number-one hit in Israel. In the US, the song peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was the United Kingdom's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996, held in Oslo, Norway, where it finished in eighth place. It was successful on the charts in Europe, Australia and the US, and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.
"Y Yo Sigo Aquí" is a song recorded by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio for her fifth studio album, Paulina (2000). It was released as the third single from Paulina on November 1, 2000. It was released in January 2001 in the United States and Europe. Jointly written and composed by Estéfano, "Y Yo Sigo Aquí" is a dance-pop and techno-pop song along pulses with a synthesized house beat. It was one of the most successful songs of the year in the world and is recognized as one of Rubio's signature songs.
"1, 2, 3, 4 " is a song by American rapper Coolio. It was the third single released from his second studio album, Gangsta's Paradise (1995), in February 1996. Initially entitled "Sumpin' New", the song uses a sample from "Thighs High ", recorded in 1981 by American jazz trumpeter Tom Browne, and also includes a vocal sample from "Wikka Wrap" by the Evasions, from 1981. The song achieved success in several countries, including the United States, France, Iceland, and New Zealand, where it was a top-10 hit.

Be Yourself is the ninth solo album by American singer Patti LaBelle. It was released by MCA Records on June 26, 1989 in the United States. Her second album with the company following her 1986 platinum album Winner in You, it features the single, "If You Asked Me To" which was also featured on the soundtrack to the James Bond movie, Licence to Kill (1989), and the R&B top ten Prince-written hit "Yo Mister." The album marked LaBelle's foray into new jack swing music with the tracks "I Got It Like That", produced by Full Force, and "Love 89", another Prince contribution.

Before she gained fame as Peaches, Merrill Nisker released her debut studio album, Fancypants Hoodlum, under her own name in 1995. In 2000, Peaches released The Teaches of Peaches, her first album to break away from her avant-garde jazz and folk background.
American singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens has released twelve studio albums, thirteen extended plays (EP), fifteen singles, eight promotional singles, and eight music videos. Through his record label Asthmatic Kitty Records, Stevens released his first two albums A Sun Came and Enjoy Your Rabbit in 2000 and 2001, respectively. For his next two releases – Michigan (2003) and Seven Swans (2004) – the singer partnered with Sounds Familyre Records for the distribution of both releases. Nicole Shortland, known professionally as Nikki Ambers and previously as Little Nikki, is an English singer-songwriter from London. She is best known for her 2013 single "Little Nikki Says", which peaked at number 53 on the UK Singles Chart. She was also a member of SoundGirl.
"Bad as the Boys" is a song by Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo featuring Finnish singer Alma, released on 2 August 2019 as the second single from her fourth album Sunshine Kitty. It marks Lo and Alma's third collaboration, following their feature on Charli XCX's 2017 single "Out of My Head" and the remix of Lo's 2018 single "Bitches".
