The Uruguayan Championship 1917 was the 17th season of Uruguay's top-flight football league.
The tournament consisted of a two-wheel championship of all against all. It involved ten teams, and the champion was Nacional. This was the third consecutive title for Nacional, so they would get their first Cup. It was also the second tournament they won undefeated.

Club Nacional de Football is a Uruguayan professional sports club based in Montevideo.
The 1935 South American Championship was the thirteenth edition of the football tournament, held from 6–27 January 1935 in Lima, Peru, used for Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay to qualify for the 1936 Summer Olympics. Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay withdrew from the tournament.
