EC Villacher SV are an ice hockey team in the Erste Bank Hockey League. They play their home games at Stadthalle in Villach, Austria. The team colors are blue and white. Their mascot is an eagle - Villach's coat of arms represents an eagle's claw.
EC KAC, or the Klagenfurt Athletic Sports Club, is a professional ice hockey team in the Austrian Erste Bank Hockey League. The team plays their home games in Klagenfurt, Carinthia, Austria at Stadthalle Klagenfurt. EC KAC has won the most Austrian ice hockey Championships, a total of 30 times including 11 consecutive titles from 1964 to 1974, and four consecutive from 1985 to 1988. Most recently they won it in 2013
The Alpenliga was an international professional ice hockey league which existed between 1991 and 1999. It was contested by club teams from Austria, Italy and Slovenia.

Currently, the league is made up of teams representing three nations: Austria, Italy and Slovenia, whilst a team from Croatia is also considering joining. The league formed as a result of a merger between Serie A and the Inter-National League.
