The 1999 ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series was the 47th season of the ARCA Racing Series, a division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). The season began on February 7, 1999, with the FirstPlus Financial 200 at Daytona International Speedway. The season ended with the Georgia Boot 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on November 20. [1] Bill Baird won the drivers championship, and Ron Cox won the Rookie of the Year award.

Loy Allen Jr. is a former professional NASCAR Winston Cup, Busch, and ARCA series race car driver, turned real estate developer and Embry-Riddle-trained commercial pilot. On February 12, 1994, he became the youngest and first rookie in NASCAR Winston Cup history to win the Daytona 500 pole.
Francis James Kimmel is an American former stock car racing driver. He competed primarily in the ARCA Racing Series, from 1990 through 2016. Kimmel is the most successful driver in ARCA history. He has won the ARCA championship ten times, including eight consecutive. He won the championship in 1998 and also won the 2000 through 2007 championships, and again in 2013. Kimmel also has won more races in the ARCA Series with 80 victories.
Blaise Robert Alexander Jr. also known as BR Alexander was an American professional stock car racer from Montoursville, Pennsylvania. He began racing at the age of 12 in go-karts, winning the coveted World Karting Association East Regional championship in 1992. In 1995, he moved south to Mooresville, North Carolina, and drove in the ARCA Racing Series. Named ARCA's rookie of the year in 1996, Alexander was a regular driver in that series while also driving in both the NASCAR Busch Series and Craftsman Truck Series.
Charles Andrew Belmont Jr. is a retired stock car driver and team owner. Belmont began racing at an early age before moving south. In 1987, he was named the NASCAR Dash Series Rookie of the Year, then he won the championship the next year as a car owner. Belmont posted three wins in the DASH Series at Hickory Motor Speedway on October 18, 1987, Myrtle Beach Speedway on May 20, 1988, and Southside Speedway on July 8, 1988.
Bobby Dotter is a former professional stock car racing driver. His father, Bob Dotter, is a three-time champion of the Automobile Racing Club of America. Dotter has made 209 starts in the NASCAR Busch Series, posting 42 top-tens and four poles. In 2000, Dotter began running in the NASCAR West Series for Gene Christensen, winning four races and the Most Popular Driver Title. He finished second in points.
Andrew Miles Hillenburg is an American former professional stock car racing driver and current team owner and track owner. His race team, Fast Track Racing, fields multiple cars in the ARCA Menards Series and formerly fielded entries in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He is credited with reviving the North Carolina Speedway, now known as Rockingham Speedway, after the track lost its NASCAR dates starting in 2005.
Christian Stuart Elder was an American racing driver. He raced in the Busch Series for Akins Motorsports for two years. His best finish of the year was 26th at Kentucky.
Thomas Allan Bigelow is a former driver in the USAC and CART Championship Car series.
Mark Voigt is a former NASCAR driver. He raced three times in the Busch Series in 2001. He is also a local dirt track driver.
Kenny Martin is a racing driver who drove ARCA and NASCAR. He is better known by finishing 5th in his debut in the Craftsman Truck Series at the inaugural Daytona 250 which was filled by a number of trucks out of the race, driving the #98 truck. He only made six more starts since, and would finish 9th at Memphis Motorsports Park. That was Martin's last start in NASCAR until trying to attempt to make the race at Dover, where he did not make the field. Since then, he has not made a NASCAR start or ARCA as well. He is not related to NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Mark Martin.
Tim Steele was an American stock car racing driver. He won three ARCA Re/Max Series national championships and raced in NASCAR's highest three series. He was inducted in the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame in 2009.
C. W. "Skip" Smith was an American stock car racing driver and Pennsylvania state trooper who previously ran 7 NASCAR Xfinity Series races and 24 ARCA Racing Series races between 1994 and 2005.
David Ray Boggs is an American stock car racing driver. Now retired, he is a former competitor in the NASCAR Grand American Series, the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, and the ARCA Racing Series.
Bill Baird is an American race car driver. He currently competes in the Ultra4 Racing Series in the #5252 buggy. He is a former Rookie of the Year and champion of the ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde stock car Series, and owns Saturn Machine, a steel equipment manufacturer.

The season began on February 13, 2000, with the Pro2Call ARCA 200 at Daytona International Speedway. The season ended with the Georgia Boot 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on November 20. Frank Kimmel won the drivers championship, his second in the series, and Brian Ross won the Rookie of the Year award. The season was marred by the death of Scott Baker, who was killed in a crash during the Jasper Engines & Transmissions 100 at Toledo Speedway.
