The WABA Champions Cup 2002 was the 5th staging of the WABA Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of West Asia Basketball Association. The tournament was held in Beirut, Lebanon between March 8 and March 10. The winner qualify for the 2002 ABC Champions Cup.

WABA Champions Cup

The WABA Champions Cup, between 2011 and 2012 known as the West Asian Basketball League (WABL), is the West Asian club championship for basketball organized by West Asia Basketball Association, and takes place every year, It also serves as a qualifying tournament for the FIBA Asia Champions Cup.

The West Asia Basketball Association (WABA) is a subzone of FIBA Asia, consisting of countries from West Asia. The WABA Champions Cup, a professional men's tournament, is a top level club competition run by the WABA.

Hekmeh or Al-Hikma or Club Sagesse is a Lebanese sports club based in Beirut. The basketball team was established in 1992, as part of the historic Hekmeh club established in 1943 with mainly the football (soccer) team. The basketball team became far more popular than the initial football team thus making the basketball branch the most popular branch of the club, due to its phenomenal record breaking success since its formation in the early nineties in the newly reformed Lebanese league, the Arab and the FIBA Asia championships.

Champville SC

'Champville Mariste Club or Champville Maristes Sports and Basketball Club is a Lebanese sports club most known for its basketball program. It is affiliated to Collège Maristes Champville in Deek el Mehdi, a renowned school in Lebanon, but has its own independent administration. The team is based within the sporting complex of the school. Champville SC competes in the Lebanese Basketball League, and in 2011–12 won their first-ever Lebanese title.

The WABA Champions Cup 1999 was the 2nd staging of the WABA Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of West Asia Basketball Association. The tournament was held in Amman, Jordan between April 12 and April 15. The winner qualify for the 1999 ABC Champions Cup.

The 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup was the 26th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament took place in Chenzhou, China from 22 September to 30 September 2017. This was the second straight year that China hosted the tournament.
