Yelena Pavlova Zhou Yuan Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa Bai Rui Qi Tregenza Melanie Konwika Apinyapong Kananovich Iryna Phạm Thị Kim Huệ Nguyễn Thị Huyền was crowned the 9th Miss Vietnam in 2004. At the time she was a student at the Hanoi Press College. She was the second Miss Vietnam to enter the Miss World competition in 2004. She was one of the 15 semi-finalists in the competition. She is pursuing her bachelor of arts (Journalism) at Middlesex University, in London, concentrating in press-branch. She got married on 27 May 2007 and had her first born in December 2007 named Tong Khanh Linh. Her husband's name is Tống Ngọc Trung.
The VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup is an international volleyball tournament for women organised by the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam (VFV), and sponsored by Vietnam Television (VTV). The cup was established in 2004 and held every year. From 2020 to 2022, the tournament was cancelled due to worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and the reschedule of 2021 Southeast Asian Games.
