The following is the final results of the Iran Super League 2004/05 basketball season. After passing a season of hard work for all participating teams, the 2004-05 Iranian Super League came to its end, crowning Sanam as the Champions of Iran. Sanam thrashed its arch-rival, Saba Battery, 94-79 in the final match. This difference seemed to give a real shock to Saba, which came to this game, almost as an unbeatable team during the whole season. Even Andre Pitts and Lorenzo Hall could not help Saba to survive from the quagmire made by Sanam. In the first game, Saba beat Sanam 79-75.

The Persian Gulf Pro League, formerly known as the Iran Pro League, is the highest division of professional football in Iran. It is the top-level football league in Iran since its foundation. Each year, its top team becomes the Iranian football champion, and the two lowest finishers are relegated to Azadegan League.
Yahya Golmohammadi is an Iranian former footballer and coach who is currently managing the Persian Gulf Pro League club Persepolis. He is one of only eight Iranians to score in a World Cup and he is the oldest player to score on his first World Cup start, who did so for Iran in 2006 against Mexico. His position was usually the central defender. He was a member of Iranian national football team and played most of his career in Persepolis. He previously managed some big clubs in Iran like Naft Tehran, Zob Ahan, Tractor Sazi and Padideh.

The Iranian Super Cup is an Iranian association football trophy awarded to the winner of a match between the Persian Gulf Pro League's season champion and the winner of the Hazfi Cup. It is similar to numerous other Super Cup tournaments held in other countries.
Majid Jalali is an Iranian football manager and a former player. He has served as the manager in several clubs in Iran like Pas Tehran, Saba Battery, Foolad, and also national football teams at various youth levels. He is also currently the secretary general of the Iran Football Coaches Association.
Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami is an Iranian professional basketball player.
Hamed Ehdadi Haddadi is an Iranian professional basketball player for Sichuan Blue Whales of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He plays at the center position and is 7'2" tall and weighs 254 lbs. Haddadi was the first Iranian to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA) when he debuted with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2008. He played with the Grizzlies until 2013 before bouncing around the league with the Toronto Raptors and the Phoenix Suns. In 2013, he returned home to Iran before playing in China. Haddadi is regarded as the greatest Iranian basketball player of all time.
Aidin Nikkhah Bahrami was an Iranian professional basketball player. He was a member of the Iranian national basketball team along with his brother Samad Nikkhah Bahrami.
The following is the final results of the Iran Super League 2005/06 basketball season. The powerhouse Saba Battery were crowned champions of Iran's Super League, beating Petrochimi of Mahshahr 3 times in a row in the final phase of the competitions which was 3 out of 5. Saba had only one loss through the whole season in a game against Pegah of Shiraz, and it kept its dominancy over the other teams. In the third and last clash, Garth Joseph, the tallest import in the Iranian Super League (218 cm) made the last shot in just 1 second to the end of the match, and changed the score to 66-64.
Mir Saeid Marouf Lakerani is an Iranian volleyball setter. He was the captain of the Iranian national team. He was named best setter at the 2014 World League and 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic qualifying tournaments, as well as most valuable player at the 2013 Asian Championship. Hamed Afagh Eslamieh is a professional Iranian basketball player who plays for Shahrdari Arak of the Iranian Super League and also for the Iranian national basketball team. He is 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) in height.
Saba Qom Football Club was an Iranian football team based in Qom, Iran. The club was dissolved in 2018. The team is a former part of Saba Battery Club, owned by Saba Battery Co., and was moved to Qom in 2007, although they were formerly registered as a team from Tehran playing at Shahid Derakhshan Stadium of Robat Karim.
Asghar Kardoust Poustinsaraei is an Iranian professional basketball player. He currently plays for Petrochimi Bandar Imam in the Iranian Super League as well as for the Iranian national basketball team, as a center. He participated in his first major international competition for the Iranian team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey.
The 2005 Hazfi Cup Final was a two-legged football tie in order to determine the 2004–05 Hazfi Cup champion of Iranian football clubs. Aboomoslem faced Saba in this final game.. Mostafa Karkhaneh is a former Iranian volleyball player and coach. He is known for his successful career as a coach, building the Iranian national volleyball team into an international contender. Throughout his career, he managed all national Iranian volleyball teams, including the youth, junior, and senior teams, helping many young players develop their skills.
