The 2005 Vietnamese Second Division was the 5th season of the Vietnamese Second Division, the third tier of the Vietnamese football league system.

The Vietnamese football league system contains two professional leagues, a semi-professional league and an amateur league for Vietnamese football clubs.

Vietnamese National Football Super Cup, also called Thaco National Football Super Cup for sponsorship reasons, is Vietnamese football's annual match contested between the champion of the previous V.League 1 season and the holder of the Vietnamese National Football Cup. 2018 Vinaphone Cup

The 2018 Vinaphone Cup is an international Olympic association football friendly tournament, sponsored by Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) with the competition is named after Vinaphone, a subsidiary-mobile network which is part of VNPT. Vietnam as the hosts use the tournament as their preparation for the Asian Games held in Indonesia.
