The 2008 Girls' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship was played from 5 to 10 July 2008 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Seven teams competed in this tournament. [1] United States won the tournament for the fifth time defeating Mexico. Dominican Republic joined the United States and Mexico to compete at the 2009 Girls' U18 World Championship. [2]

The Canada men's national volleyball team represents Canada in international volleyball competitions. They are overseen by Volleyball Canada, the governing body for volleyball in Canada. The team placed fourth place at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and three bronze medals at the Pan American Games in 1979, 1999 and 2015. They have participated in four Olympic Games, including most recently a fifth-place finish at Rio 2016, after returning to the Games following a quarter-century absence. Canada hosted the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto where they beat Puerto Rico for the bronze medal. Canada competed at the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup in 2015 for the first time in 12 years, finishing seventh. They last appeared in 2003, also finishing seventh. They finished joint-seventh at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship.

Niverka Dharlenis Marte Frica is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic. She played the 2012 Summer Olympics with the Dominican Republic national team ranking in fifth place. She also played the 2010 and the 2014 World Championship earning the 17th place and the fifth place and the 2011 and the 2015 FIVB World Cup with her national team ranking in the eight and seventh place. She won the bronze medal in the 2015 Pan American Games.

Ana Yorkira Binet Stephens is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic. She was born in Sánchez, Samaná.

Jeoselyna Rodríguez Santos is a female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who won the bronze medal at the 2009 World Grand Champions Cup. She won the 2009 NORCECA Championship gold medal, bronze in the 2007 edition and the gold medal at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games playing with the Dominican Republic national team. She also won the gold medal at the 2010 Pan-American Cup and the silver at the 2009 and 2013 editions.

The 2013–14 CONCACAF Champions League was the 6th edition of the CONCACAF Champions League under its current name, and overall the 49th edition of the premier football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America and the Caribbean. Monterrey were the three-time defending champions, but were unable to defend their title as they failed to qualify for the tournament.

Samantha Bricio is a Mexican volleyball professional player, the youngest player to play for the Mexico national team in its history. Bricio played in the 2009 FIVB Girls Youth World Championship and again in 2011, finishing twelfth. She received the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games Best Scorer and Best Server awards and the Best Scorer award in the 2011 Youth Pan-American Cup, 2011 Junior Pan-American Cup and the 2013 Pan-American Cup.

The 2014 Girls' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship played by nine countries from June 22–30, 2014 in San José, Costa Rica. The Dominican Republic won the tournament for the first time and qualified for the 2015 FIVB Girls' World Championship along with the United States and Mexico. Dominican Republic player Natalia Martínez won the Most Valuable Player award.

The NORCECA Women's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, organized by the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). Since its introduction in 1969 the tournaments have been awarded every two years. The competition has been dominated by Cuba and United States, which won together 21 of the 26 editions of the tournament.

The 2019 WBSC Premier12 was an international baseball championship featuring the 12 highest-ranked national teams in the world, held by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). It was the second WBSC Premier12 event. The championship was held from November 2 to 17, 2019, in Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.

The 2018 Girls' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the eleventh edition of the bi-annual volleyball tournament. It was held in Tegucigalpa National Gymnasium, Tegucigalpa, Honduras from 25 August to 2 September among eight countries. The United States won the tournament and qualified for the 2019 FIVB Girls' World Championship along with Canada. United States player Jessica Mzurik won the Most Valuable Player award.

The 2018 Boys' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the eleventh edition of the bi-annual volleyball tournament. It was held in San Jose, Costa Rica from 4 June to 11 June. Seven countries competed in the tournament. Cuba won the tournament and qualified for the 2019 Boys' U19 World Championship along with the United States. Christian Thondike won the MVP award.

The 2019 Girls' Youth Pan-American Volleyball Cup was played from May 19 to May 27, 2019 in Durango, Mexico. Eight teams competed in this tournament. Peru won the tournament for the first time defeating Puerto Rico. Since Peru had already qualified for the 2019 World Championship through the South American Championship, Puerto Rico and Mexico qualified instead. Janelly Ceopa of Peru was named the tournament MVP.

The 2010 Girls' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship was played from April 27 to May 2, 2010 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Ten teams competed in this tournament. United States won the tournament for the sixth time defeating Mexico. Puerto Rico joined the United States and Mexico to compete at the 2011 Girls' U18 World Championship. Samantha Bricio of Mexico was named the tournament MVP.

The 2006 Girls' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship was played from July 23 to July 31, 2006 in Gainesville, Florida, United States. Six teams competed in this tournament. United States won the tournament for the fourth time defeating Dominican Republic. Puerto Rico joined the United States and Dominican Republic to compete at the 2007 Girls' U18 World Championship. Team USA's Tarah Murrey won the tournament MVP award.

The 2019 Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 26th edition of the tournament, and was held in Winnipeg, Canada from 2 to 7 September 2019. Top three teams which had not yet qualified to the 2020 Summer Olympics or the 2020 North American Olympic Qualification Tournament qualified for the 2020 North American Olympic Qualification Tournament.

The 2019 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 26th edition of the tournament, and was played from 8 October to 13 October 2019 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Dominican Republic defeated the United States by 3–2 to win the Continental Championship. Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic qualified for the NORCECA Olympic Qualifier, which will see the four teams compete for a spot in the 2020 Olympics. Dominican Brayelin Martínez earned the Most Valuable Player award.

The 2010 Girls' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the seventh edition of the bi-annual Women's Junior NORCECA Volleyball Championship, played by ten countries from July 4–12, 2010 in Tijuana, Mexico. The United States defeated the Dominican Republic and qualified for the 2011 Women's Junior World Championship. The American Jane Croson won the tournament MVP.

The North American Qualification Tournament for the 2020 Men's Olympic Volleyball Tournament was a volleyball tournament for men's national teams held in Vancouver, Canada from 10 to 12 January 2020. Four teams played in the tournament and the winners Canada qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 2021 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was an exceptional edition of the annual women's volleyball tournament. It was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from September 11–20, 2021.
