The New Hampshire Wildcats women's ice hockey team represented the University of New Hampshire. The Wildcats participated in the NCAA tournament for the second consecutive season.
Jennifer Wakefield led New Hampshire in scoring. In addition, Wakefield led the Wildcats with 13 power play goals, four shorthanded goals and nine game-winning goals.

The New Hampshire Wildcats, or 'Cats, are the American intercollegiate athletic teams representing the University of New Hampshire (UNH), located in Durham. The wildcat is the school's official mascot, the colors are UNH Blue and white. The University of New Hampshire competes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a full member of the America East Conference, and sponsors teams in seven men's, eleven women's and one coed NCAA sanctioned sports. However, the men's and women's hockey teams are members of Hockey East, the gymnastics team is a member of the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL), and the ski team is a member of the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA). The football team plays as an associate member of the Coastal Athletic Association in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision, the second tier of Division I formerly known as Division I-AA.
The head coach was Brian McCloskey. Assisting him were Erin Whitten and Stephanie Jones.
The New Hampshire Wildcats represent the University of New Hampshire. They have won five ECAC championships between 1986 and 1996. When the Wildcats joined Hockey East, they won four Hockey East titles from 2006 to 2009. The Wildcats have more wins than any other women's ice hockey program at 668 in its first 32 years. The Wildcats went undefeated in their initial 74 games (73–0–1) spanning the 1978 through 1982 seasons. A UNH goaltender has been declared Hockey East Goaltending Champion in the first six years of the league's existence. From 2007 to 2009, UNH hosted NCAA Tournament Regional home games.
Kacey Lee Bellamy is a former American ice hockey defender for the Calgary section of the PWHPA, an Olympic Gold medalist, and seven-time IIHF World Women's Championship winner. She also played for the Boston Pride in the Premier Hockey Federation and the United States women's national ice hockey team. She won the Isobel Cup with the Pride and is a two-time Clarkson Cup champion with the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
Stefanie Andrea Marty is a Swiss retired ice hockey player who currently serves as assistant coach to SC Reinach of the SWHL A. She was a member of the Swiss national team from 2003 until her retirement in 2017. With the Swiss national team, she won bronze medals at the 2014 Olympic Games and the 2012 IIHF Women's World Championship. At the 2010 Olympic Games, Marty scored 9 goals and tied with Meghan Agosta of Team Canada as top goal scorer of the tournament.
The Harvard Crimson women's ice hockey team represents Harvard University in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I women's hockey. Harvard competes as a member of the ECAC Conference and plays its home games at the Bright Hockey Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Brandy Fisher is an American former ice hockey forward. She played for the New Hampshire Wildcats women's ice hockey program and was the first ever winner of the Patty Kazmaier Award, awarded to the top female ice hockey player in the NCAA. Brandy was born in Potsdam, New York.

The UConn Huskies women's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Connecticut. The Huskies compete in the Hockey East conference. The Huskies play in the Toscano Family Ice Forum.
The Boston University Terriers women's ice hockey represent Boston University. The Terriers play in the Hockey East conference. From 2010 to 2015, the Terriers won five Hockey East Championships and made six consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.

Jennifer Dorothy June Wakefield is a Canadian ice hockey player and coach, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with MoDo Hockey Dam. She has served as an assistant coach to the Netherlands' women's national ice hockey team and the women's representative team of Almtuna IS in the Damettan. As a member of the Canadian national ice hockey team, she was a substitute for the roster that participated in 2010 Winter Olympics and played on the gold-medal winning team at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and the silver-medal winning team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The Boston University Terriers women's ice hockey team represented Boston University in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Terriers were coached by Brian Durocher and they were the first team in Hockey East to qualify for the NCAA Frozen Four championship game. In addition, Catherine Ward became the first Terriers player to be recognized as an All-American selection. Ward also set a program single-season record for most assists in one season with 27.
The 2010–11 Hockey East women's ice hockey season marked the continuation of the annual tradition of competitive ice hockey among Hockey East members.
Courtney Birchard-Kessel is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former player, currently serving as the head coach of the Boston Fleet of the Professional Women's Hockey League.
Michael Souza often referred to as Mike Souza, is a former Italian-American professional ice hockey forward who currently is the head coach of the University of New Hampshire men's ice hockey team.
The Boston University Terriers women's ice hockey team represented Boston University in the 2011–12 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Terriers were coached by Brian Durocher. The seniors on the Terriers squad were Kasey Boucher, Jenn Wakefield, Carly Warren and Tara Watchorn. Boston University won its second Hockey East Championship in three seasons. In addition, the Terriers qualified for their third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. At season's end, BU recorded a 23–14–1 record, marking the program's second straight 20-win season. The club triumphed in seven of its final eight games of the year, while earning a fifth-place ranking.
Samantha Faber is an American ice hockey player. Faber competed for the New Hampshire Wildcats women's ice hockey program in Hockey East. During the 2007–08 season, Faber set an NCAA record for most game-winning goals in one season with 13. She is a former member of the United States women's national ice hockey team. She was part of the gold medal winning roster at the 2008 IIHF World Women's Championships.
