The 2009 Asian Baseball Cup was hosted in Bangkok, Thailand after being scheduled to be held in the Philippines. [1] The tournament was won by Indonesia in the final against Pakistan. [2] Indonesia will continue to the 2009 Asian Baseball Championship. [3]

The Asian Baseball Cup is a baseball tournament organized by the Baseball Federation of Asia. The Asian Baseball Cup is a second-level tournament to the Asian Baseball Championship. In 2012, the Asian Baseball Cup was divided into two separate divisions, East and West, alternatively called the East Asian Baseball Cup and West Asian Baseball Cup. From 2016, the Asian Baseball Cup tournaments shall be held biannually.

The Indonesia national baseball team is the national baseball team of Indonesia. The team represents Indonesia in international competitions.

Pakistan national baseball team national sports team

The Pakistan national baseball team is the national team representing Pakistan in international baseball tournaments and competitions. They are ranked as the top and one of the most successful baseball teams in South Asia, winning the first SAARC Baseball Championship 8-2 against Sri Lanka in 2011. The team is currently ranked #24 in the world by the International Baseball Federation. The highest rank they have achieved was 21st.
