The 2009 Italian Figure Skating Championships (Italian : Campionati Italiani Assoluti 2009 Pattinaggio Di Figura Su Ghiaccio) was held in Turin from December 18 through 21, 2008. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the levels of senior and junior. The results were used to choose the teams to the 2009 World Championships, the 2009 European Championships, and the 2009 World Junior Championships.

The Canadian Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of Canada. It is organized by Skate Canada, the nation's figure skating governing body. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels.
The World Junior Figure Skating Championships, commonly referred to as "World Juniors" or "Junior Worlds", are annual figure skating competitions sanctioned by the International Skating Union in which figure skaters within a designated age range compete for the titles of World Junior Champion.
The 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships took place between January 14 and 24 at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington with AT&T as the title sponsor. Skaters competed in four disciplines – men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing – across three levels: senior, junior, and novice. Medals were awarded in four colors: gold (first), silver (second), bronze (third), and pewter (fourth).

Although the official International Skating Union terminology for female skaters in the singles category is ladies, Skate Canada uses women officially. The results of this competition were used to pick the Canadian teams to the 2009 World Championships, the 2009 Four Continents Championships, and the 2009 World Junior Championships, as well as the Canadian national team.

In addition, the event will also be used to choose the Japanese teams to the 2009 World Championships and the 2009 Four Continents Championships. The Japanese team to the 2009 World Junior Championships was chosen at the Japanese Junior Championships.

The 2015 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2014–15 season. The event was held on 2–8 March 2015 at the newly constructed Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia. It determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance.
The 2014–15 Japan Figure Skating Championships took place on December 26–28, 2014 at the Big Hat in Nagano. It was the 83rd edition of the event. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
Italy competed at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland from 9 to 22 January 2020.
