The 2009-2010 season was the 14th edition of the Lebanese Basketball League. The regular season began on Friday, December 11, 2009 and ended on Thursday April 15, 2010. The playoffs began on Monday, April 19 and ended with the 2010 Finals on Thursday April 29, 2010, after Riyadi Beirut defeated Champville SC in 3 games to win their seventh title (new format).

The 2012–2013 season was the 17th edition of the Lebanese Basketball League. The regular season began on Friday, November 2, 2012 and ended on Monday March 4, 2013. The playoffs began on Thursday, March 7 and ended in the Semifinals on Sunday May 26, 2013, after the League got cancelled.

Ramy Akiki is a Lebanese basketball player with Champville SC of the Lebanese Basketball League. He played year 2002–03 with American college team Cypress JC for a one-year before moving to Lebanese division 2 side Blue Stars in the 2003–04 season. In the 2004–05 season Ramy had been promoted to the Lebanese Basketball League as a result of his performance with Blue Stars and was additionally signed by Lebanese powerhouse Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut for one season. he was then waved the next year in order to join Tripoli Al Mouttahed Tripoli from 2004–2007 on a three-year contract. Walid Mahmoud El Doumiati is a retired Lebanese professional basketball player who last played for Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Doumiati alongside Elie Mechantaf and Fadi El Khatib helped build the sport of basketball in Lebanon since the draft of Lebanese NBA player Rony Seikaly. Walid was committed to Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut leading the team to successive titles, despite being held back by archrivals Hekmeh BC during the 1990s. Walid was also a member of the Lebanon national basketball team during its first ever appearance in the 2002 FIBA World Championship in Indianapolis after earning a silver medal at the 2001 ABC Championship.

The 2011-2012 season was the 16th edition of the Lebanese Basketball League. The regular season began on Saturday, October 22, 2011 and ended on Friday April 20, 2012. The playoffs began on Thursday, April 26 and ended with the 2012 Finals on Sunday May 13, 2012, after Champville SC defeated Anibal Zahle in 4 games to win their first title.

Bilal Tabbara is a Lebanese basketball player for Lebanese Basketball League club Al Riyadi Club Beirut. He started his professional playing career in 2012 and has played with several first division teams including Hoops Club, Champville SC now known as CS Maristes, Al Mouttahed Tripoli, Tadamon Zouk and Homenetmen Beirut. In the 2023 season he broke the record for most points scored by a single player at 61 points. Bilal often plays in the small forward and power forward positions.
