The Serbian League West is a section of the Srpska Liga, Serbia's third football league. Teams from the western part of Serbia are in this section of the league. The other sections are Srpska Liga East, Srpska Liga Vojvodina, and Srpska Liga Belgrade.

First League of the Republika Srpska is a second level football competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since there were three different football championships in country, organized on ethnic principles, the "First League of the Republika Srpska" was the top flight in Republika Srpska before 2002. However, the champions of this League were not recognized by UEFA. The Regional League Doboj is a fifth level league in the Bosnia and Herzegovina football league system and a fourth level league in the Republika Srpska.

The 2015–16 Serbian League East is the 13th season of one of the four third level leagues in Serbian football. The league consists of 16 teams. A higher level of competition is the First League, while the lower three Zone Leagues are West, East and South.

The 2017–18 Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, known as Liga 12 and also known as BH Telecom Premier League for sponsorship reasons, was the eighteenth season of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the highest football league of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The season began on 22 July 2017 and concluded on 20 May 2018, with a winter break between early December 2017 and late February 2018.
