The 2010 CAF Super Cup was the 18th CAF Super Cup, an annual football match in Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), between the winners of the previous season's two CAF club competitions, the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. The match was contested between TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who won the 2009 CAF Champions League, and Stade Malien de Bamako of Mali, who won the 2009 CAF Confederation Cup.

CAF Super Cup

The CAF Super Cup is an annual African association football competition contested between the winners of the Total CAF Champions League and the Total CAF Confederation Cup. The competition was first held in 1993 and is organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). It is the continental equivalent of the UEFA Super Cup in European and Recopa Sudamericana in South American club football.

CAF Champions League

The CAF Champions League is an annual continental club football competition run by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). TP Mazembe association football club

Tout Puissant Mazembe, formerly known as Englebert, is a Congolese football club based in Lubumbashi. Their home games are played at Stade TP Mazembe situated in the suburb of Kamalondo. Its nickname is Les corbeaux despite having a crocodile with a ball in its mouth on the team crest. TP Mazembe drew an average home attendance of 11,888 in the 2015-16 Linafoot season. CS Don Bosco serves as a feeder club to the team. Mazembe are among the major sports clubs in DR Congo and one of the most successful football teams in Africa ever. They gained great notoriety when they defeated the Internacional of Brazil in the semifinal of the FIFA Club World Cup. They became the first Congolese club with 300,000 followers on Facebook, their main social media page. They are most successful team in DRC with 35 national and international titles won.

FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo is a Congolese football club based in Lubumbashi. Their home games are played at Stade Kibassa Maliba.

2010 CAF Champions League Final

The 2010 CAF Champions League Final was the final of 2010 CAF Champions League. TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo beat Espérance ST from Tunisia 6–1 on aggregate to win their fourth title in the competition, and their second in a row. They also qualified to the quarter-finals for the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup.

The 2011 CAF Super Cup was the 19th CAF Super Cup, an annual football match in Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), between the winners of the previous season's two CAF club competitions, the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. The match was contested between TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the winner of the 2010 CAF Champions League, and FUS Rabat of Morocco, the winner of the 2010 CAF Confederation Cup. TP Mazembe won the trophy after beating FUS Rabat 9–8 in the penalty shoot-out, with the game ending 0–0.
