The Iranian Super League (ISL) is a professional volleyball league in Iran at the top of the Iranian volleyball league system. It was founded in 1975 as the Pasargard Cup, but after the Iranian Revolution it was renamed to the first Division. In 1997 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Super League was established. Paykan Tehran has won the most titles in the new Super League with 12 titles.
Mir Saeid Marouf Lakerani is an Iranian volleyball setter. He is the captain of the Iranian national team. He was named best setter at the 2014 World League and 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic qualifying tournaments, as well as most valuable player at the 2013 Asian Championship. He participated in the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. He was voted Iranian Sportsmen of the year for (2015–16) of the Iranian calendar by an Iranian TV.
Seyed Mohammad Mousavi Eraghi is a volleyball player from Iran, who plays as a middle blocker for Italian club Gas Sales Piacenza and Iran men's national volleyball team.

He and his brother are originally from Mianeh, East Azerbaijan. Mahmoudi have been three times named Most Valuable Player in Asian Club Championship.

Ahsanollah Shirkavand is an Iranian volleyball libero. After playing at the Asian Youth Games, he was invited to the Iran Men's National Volleyball Team and played for it from 1998 to 2000 who finished fourth at the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship. Shirkavand continued playing for the National Team under the coaching of Julio Velasco until 2013, when he was forced to leave national games due to injury.
Mostafa Karkhaneh is a former Iranian volleyball player and coach. He is known for his successful career as a coach, building the Iranian national volleyball team into an international contender. Throughout his career, he managed all national Iranian volleyball teams, including the youth, junior, and senior teams, helping many young players develop their skills.
