The 2011 Dutch National Track Championships were the Dutch national Championship for track cycling. They took place in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands from December 27 to December 30, 2011.
Apeldoorn is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. It is a regional centre. The municipality of Apeldoorn, including villages like Beekbergen, Loenen, Ugchelen and Hoenderloo, had a population of 160,852 in 2017. The western half of the municipality lies on the Veluwe ridge, the eastern half lies in the IJssel valley. John Berends of the CDA is the mayor of Apeldoorn.
The Omnisport Apeldoorn is a velodrome and multisport indoor arena in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Designed by FaulknerBrowns Architects the facility opened in 2008, it is divided into two halls: a cycling hall containing 250 m (820 ft) cycling track and 200 m (660 ft) athletics track and a volleyball hall. The cycling hall has a capacity for 5000 spectators and the volleyball hall for 2000. Omnisport Apeldoorn is used during the day by educational institution ROC Aventus and has been the home of volleyball club SV Dynamo. The cycling hall was the host of the 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, 2015 UCI Track Para-Cycling World Championships and in May 2016 it hosted the opening time-trial stage of the 2016 Giro d'Italia. The volleyball hall was one of the venues of the 2015 Women's European Volleyball Championship. In 2018 the cycling hall hosted 2018 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.

Teunis ("Teun") Mulder is a Dutch track cyclist. He is a former keirin World Champion and won a silver in the team sprint with Theo Bos and Tim Veldt. Mulder also won four world cup classics in the team sprint and keirin. He competed for his native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, finishing 10th at the individual sprint, 6th at the team sprint and 11th at the 1 km time trial, while he was eliminated in the first repechage round of the keirin competition. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he won the bronze medal in the men's keirin.
