The 2011-2012 season was the 16th edition of the Lebanese Basketball League. The regular season began on Saturday, October 22, 2011 and ended on Friday April 20, 2012. The playoffs began on Thursday, April 26 and ended with the 2012 Finals on Sunday May 13, 2012, after Champville SC defeated Anibal Zahle in 4 games to win their first title (new format).

Lebanese Basketball Cup

On May 22, 2012, Anibal Zahle defeated Hoops Club in the finals of the cup.

Anibal Zahle reached the Final after beating the newly crowned Lebanese Basketball League champions Champville SC in the Semifinals. As for Hoops Club they reached this stage after winning against Riyadi Beirut by forfeit due to the decision taken by the Riyadi administration.

The playoffs began on Sunday, April 17 and ended with the 2011 Finals on Sunday May 8, 2011, after Riyadi Beirut defeated Champville SC in 3 games to win their eight title.

Mohammed Majed Ibrahim is a Lebanese professional basketball player who currently plays for Hekmeh BC of the Lebanese Basketball League. Mohammed has represented the Lebanese national basketball team multiple times. He is 193 cm tall and plays point guard / shooting guard.

The 2013-2014 season was the 18th edition of the Lebanese Basketball League. The regular season began on Friday, January 31, 2014 and ended on Saturday April 19, 2014. The playoffs began on Friday, April 25 and ended with the 2014 Finals on Tuesday June 17, 2014, after Riyadi Beirut defeated Sagesse Beirut in 6 games to win their ninth title.

The 2009-2010 season was the 14th edition of the Lebanese Basketball League. The regular season began on Friday, December 11, 2009 and ended on Thursday April 15, 2010. The playoffs began on Monday, April 19 and ended with the 2010 Finals on Thursday April 29, 2010, after Riyadi Beirut defeated Champville SC in 3 games to win their seventh title.

Ismail Ahmed Abdelmoneim is an Egyptian-Lebanese professional basketball player. He plays for Al Ittihad Alexandria Club. He was a main member of the Egypt national basketball team that participated in the FIBA Africa Championship 2001 in Casablanca in Morocco and in the FIBA Africa Championship 2003 that took place in Alexandria, Egypt.
