The 2013 Copa Catalunya Femenina was the ninth edition of the competition, running from May 25 to September 1, 2013. RCD Espanyol defeated FC Barcelona on penalties in the final, held in Sant Boi de Llobregat, ending Barcelona's 4-year winning streak. [1]

The 2012 Copa Catalunya Femenina was the eighth edition of the competition and ran from 26 May to 27 August 2012, with the Final Four taking place in Manresa. FC Barcelona defeated RCD Espanyol on penalties in the final to win its fourth title in a row. UE L'Estartit and CE Sant Gabriel also reached the Final Four.

The 2014–15 Copa Catalunya is the 26th staging of the Copa Catalunya. The competition began on 2 and 3 August 2014 and was played by teams in Segunda División, Segunda División B, Tercera División and the top teams of Primera Catalana. Teams of lower divisions played a new competition called Copa Catalunya Amateur. FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol joined the competition with their reserve teams.
