Kerteminde, is a town in central Denmark, located in Kerteminde Municipality on the island of Funen. The town has a population of 6,042. It is a small harbor town surrounded by farms. Kerteminde contains a fish restaurant, Rudolf Mathis, the Viking museum Ladby, and the research and exhibition institution for fish and porpoises Fjord & Bælt.
Kerteminde Municipality is a municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the northeast coast of the island of Funen in central Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Romsø, and it covers an area of 203 km2. It has a total population of 24,034 (2022). The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Kerteminde.
Funen, with an area of 3,099.7 square kilometres (1,196.8 sq mi), is the third-largest island of Denmark, after Zealand and Vendsyssel-Thy. It is the 165th-largest island in the world. It is located in the central part of the country and has a population of 469,947 as of 2020. Funen's main city is Odense, which is connected to the sea by a seldom-used canal. The city's shipyard, Odense Steel Shipyard, has been relocated outside Odense proper.
These are the official results of the men's 100 metres event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. There were a total number of 106 participating athletes from 75 nations, with twelve heats in round 1, five quarterfinals, two semifinals and a final. Each nation was limited to 3 athletes per rules in force since the 1930 Olympic Congress. The event was won by Donovan Bailey of Canada, the nation's first title in the event since Percy Williams won it in 1928.
Romsø is a Danish island in the Great Belt off the coast of Funen. It has an area of 1.09 km2 and has, since 1996, no permanent residents. A defunct lighthouse and a few houses are located on the island; a substantial part of its area is covered by forest. The island is privately owned; although it is not closed to the general public some restrictions may apply.
The men's Star was a sailing event on the sailing at the 2008 Summer Olympics program in Qingdao International Sailing Centre. Eleven races were scheduled and completed. 32 sailors, on 16 boats, from 16 nations competed. Ten boats qualified for the medal race.

The Funen Painters or Fynboerne were a loose group of Danish artists who formed an art colony on the island of Funen at the very beginning of the 20th century. They were strongly influenced by Kristian Zahrtmann who taught at the Artists Studio School in Copenhagen from 1885 to 1908. Like Zahrtmann, they abandoned the traditions of the Danish Academy and ventured into Naturalism and Realism.

Tornø is a small island in the Odense Fjord, roughly 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) northeast of the city of Odense, in Kerteminde Municipality, Funen, Denmark. It covers an area of 21 hectares and is connected to the mainland by a 300 m (980 ft)-long causeway. The first tenant farmer on the island was Hans Eriksen in 1921.
Seden is a large village and northeastern suburb of Odense, in Funen, Denmark. The Suburb has a population of 3.743 It borders Vollsmose to the south and Stige to the north and Kerteminde to the east.
Bregnør Fiskerleje is a fishing village to the northeast of Odense, and northwest of Kerteminde in Kerteminde Municipality, Funen, Denmark. Bregnor lies 2.3 miles (3.7 km) to the southeast of the entrance passage to Odense Fjord, and contains a small harbour.
Kerteminde Fjord is a fjord of northeastern Funen, Denmark, south of the Odense Fjord. It stretches inland from the town of Kerteminde. The villages of Kertinge and Kolstrup are on the southeastern shore and Munkebo is to the north.
