The members produced the majority of the music for this album themselves, with the help of other producers such as Choice 37, B.I., Airplay, and others. The title track "Empty" became a hit in South Korea, topping the Gaon Chart and Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100 chart, [6] [7] and topping 7 other South Korean charts. The album also found some success in China and Japan. [8] Internationally, 2014 S/S took the top spot in Billboard's World Album Chart. [9]

BigBang is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. The group consists of three members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019 and T.O.P left in May 2023. Dubbed the "Kings of K-pop", they helped spread the Korean Wave internationally and are considered one of the most influential acts in K-pop. They are known for their trendsetting musical experimentation, self-production, and stage presence.
2NE1 is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. The group consists of Bom, CL, Dara, and Minzy. Known for breaking stereotypes of K-pop, musical experimentation, fashion, and stage presence, they are recognized for expanding girl group styles in the Korean music industry and became one of the leading figures of the Korean wave.
Dong Young-bae, better known by his stage name Taeyang or SOL, is a South Korean singer. He made his debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band BigBang. Following the release of several albums and extended plays with his group, Taeyang pursued a solo career in 2008, releasing his first extended play, Hot. The EP was acclaimed by critics and went to win the award for Best R&B & Soul Album at the 6th Korean Music Awards. Coup d'Etat is the second studio album by South Korean rapper G-Dragon, member and leader of South Korean boy band Big Bang. The album was initially released on iTunes. The first five tracks of the album were released on September 2, 2013, the next seven tracks were released on September 5, and physical copies were released on September 13. The album contains the single "MichiGO" which was released earlier in 2013.
Winner is a South Korean boy band consisting of four members: Kim Jin-woo, Lee Seung-hoon, Mino, and Kang Seung-yoon; originally a five-piece band, Nam Tae-hyun departed in November 2016 for reasons associated to his mental health. "Ringa Linga" is a song recorded by South Korean singer Taeyang. It was released as a digital single on November 8, 2013, through YG Entertainment. Later, it became the first single to be released from his second studio album Rise (2014). It was written and composed by Big Bang bandmate G-Dragon and Shockbit.
"Bar Bar Bar" is the second single album, and fourth single overall by Crayon Pop. It was released digitally on June 20, 2013 by Chrome Entertainment and distributed by CJ E&M Music. "Bar Bar Bar" became a viral hit in late July, eventually reaching number one on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100 chart and number three on the Gaon Digital Chart.
"Good Boy" is a song recorded by South Korean duo GD X Taeyang, members of the boy band Big Bang. It was released on November 21, 2014, as the second hip-hop project from YG Entertainment, the first being "Niliria" by G-Dragon featuring Missy Elliott a year prior. The single was written by G-Dragon, who also produced it along with the Fliptones and Freedo. "Good Boy" became a chart-topper on Billboard's World Digital Songs and a Top 5 hit on the Gaon Digital Chart. Additionally, a physical single was released and topped the Gaon Albums Chart.
"We Like 2 Party" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was released digitally on June 5, 2015, by YG Entertainment, as the second single from Made, being included in the single album A. It was written by Teddy, Kush and group members G-Dragon and T.O.P. The first three also produced the track with Seo Won Jin.
"Loser" is a song by South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was released on May 1, 2015, alongside "Bae Bae" as the group's fifth single album M, and as the first single of their third Korean-language studio album Made (2016). The single marked BigBang's first release since Still Alive (2012). Written by G-Dragon, T.O.P, Teddy and produced by Teddy alongside Taeyang, "Loser" has been described as a hip hop and R&B song.
Exit: E is the first extended play by South Korean group Winner. It was released on February 1, 2016, 18 months after their debut album 2014 S/S back in 2014. As with their first album, the members contributed heavily to the songwriting and production aspects of Exit: E. The album was also Winner's last with member Nam Tae-hyun, who left the group on 25 November 2016.
Nam Tae-hyun, also known as Taehyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, producer and actor. In March 2017, he founded a music label, South Buyers Club. Sometime afterwards, the label was renamed to The South. Under the label, Nam debuted the band South Club, of which he is leader, main vocalist, guitarist, and main composer. He was previously the main vocalist of K-pop group Winner, in which he also composed and produced. In November 2019, Nam announced that he closed his music label and that the band had signed with new management.
Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment. The group is composed of four members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. Regarded by various publications as the "biggest girl group in the world", they are recognized as a leading force in the Korean Wave and an ambassador of the "girl crush" concept in K-pop, which explores themes of self-confidence and female empowerment.
"Untitled, 2014" is a song recorded by South Korean rapper G-Dragon, serving as the lead single for his second extended play and self-titled Kwon Ji Yong (2017). It was written by G-Dragon, who also co-produced the song with Choice37 and Sunwoo Jung-a. "Untitled, 2014" was a chart-topper in South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, where it finished 2017 as one of the best-performing songs of the year.

Everyday, stylized as EVERYD4Y, is the second studio album of South Korean group Winner, released four years after their debut album, 2014 S/S, in 2014. This is the first studio album of Winner after the departure of Nam Tae-hyun. The album was released on April 4, 2018, by the group's record label, YG Entertainment. Like previous albums, the members were credited for writing the lyrics and composing the majority of the album's songs. The album is available in two different designs, Day and Night versions. The Day version has a clean silver background with Winner's "W" mark and the stylized title of the album, while the Night version has a black background with a black and white group photo of Winner sitting on a couch.
New Kids: Continue is the first extended play of South Korean boy band iKON. It is the third of the group's four-part album series that began with the single album New Kids: Begin and ended with the second extended play New Kids: The Final. It was released by YG Entertainment on August 2, 2018. iKON's leader B.I was credited as the only record producer of the EP. The EP contains 5 songs including the lead single "Killing Me", all written or co-written by B.I. The physical album comes in two versions: Red & Blue.
An Ode is the third studio album by South Korean boy band Seventeen. It was released on September 16, 2019, through Pledis Entertainment. The album spawned two singles, "Hit" was released as the album's lead single on August 5, 2019, followed by the title track, "Fear", on the release date of the album.
