MOL Liga seasons

The 2014–15 MOL Liga season was the seventh season of the MOL Liga. The league is a multi-national ice hockey league consisting of teams from Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. HC Nové Zámky are the defending Champions after defeating ASC Corona Braşov in the 2014 Championship.

Ice hockey is a contact team sport played on ice, usually in a rink, in which two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a vulcanized rubber puck into their opponent's net to score points. The sport is known to be fast-paced and physical, with teams usually consisting of six players each: one goaltender, and five players who skate up and down the ice trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team.

The Panonian League was one of the multinational ice hockey leagues in Europe. The league was established in 2002 and originally comprised teams from Hungary, Romania and Croatia. HK Vojvodina became the first Serbian team to join the league in 2003-04. The league was temporarily abandoned after 2003-04 when Hungarian and Romanian teams went on to establish their own joint league, called the MOL Liga. The Panonian League was revived in 2007 with Croatian and Serbian teams, lasting until 2009. In total there were four seasons, from 2002 to 2004, and from 2007 to 2009.

HSC Csíkszereda ice hockey team

Hoki Sport Club Csíkszereda is a professional ice hockey club based in Miercurea-Ciuc, Romania. They play in the country's top-level championship, the Romanian Hockey League and also participate in the international competition Erste Liga, that features teams from Hungary, Romania and Austria. HSC is one of the most successful teams in the domestic championship with 15 titles, including six in a row between 2007 and 2012.

The 2010–11 MOL Liga season was the third edition of the international ice hockey championship for teams from Hungary and Romania. Karol Csányi is a Slovak-Hungarian professional ice hockey winger. He is currently playing with Újpesti TE of the MOL Liga. He also played for Lev Poprad of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) during the 2011-12 season.

Nine teams participated in the league, and KH Sanok won the championship. Podhale Nowy Targ was relegated to the 1. Liga, but was able to stay in the PHL after KTH Krynica did not get a league license for 2014-15.

The 2016–17 MOL Liga is a season of the MOL Liga. DVTK Jegesmedvék is the two-time defending champion after defeating MAC Budapest in the 2015-2016 season. A new team, the Serbian based HK Beograd joined the league.

The 2015–16 MOL Liga was 8th season of the MOL Liga. DVTK Jegesmedvék was the defending champion after defeating HK Nové Zámky in the 2014-2015 season. The league is a multi-national ice hockey league consisting of teams from Hungary and Romania. A new team, Budapest based MAC Budapest joined the league.
