The 2003 AFC Women's Championship was a women's football tournament held in Thailand from 8 to 21 June 2003. It was the 14th holding of the AFC Women's Championship, a tournament for women's national teams from countries affiliated to the Asian Football Confederation.

The association football tournament at the 2007 SEA Games was held from 1 to 14 December in Nakhon Ratchasima Province of Thailand. The men's tournament is played by U-23 national teams, while the women's tournament has no age limit.

The 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the seventh FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It took place from 1 to 18 November 2012 in Thailand. An extra four teams were competing at this World Cup. This was the first FIFA men's tournament held in Southeast Asia since the Malaysia 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship, and was the first FIFA men's tournament held in the country, having hosted the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship.

The 2010 AFF Championship qualification tournament was held in Vientiane, Laos from 22 to 26 October 2010 for the five lower-ranked teams in Southeast Asia. All teams played in a round-robin tournament format with the winner and runner-up qualifying for the final tournament. However, the qualification was held without Brunei, due to FIFA's continued suspension of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam, thus barring them from the competition. The draw for the qualifying round and competition proper took place on 15 September 2010.

The 2013 AFC U-16 Women's Championship was the 5th edition of the tournament. The tournament was held from 26 September to 6 October 2013.

The Lion City Cup is one of the oldest and prestigious youth tournaments in the world with its first edition dating back to 1977, organised by The Red Card and co-organised by the national footballing body Football Association of Singapore.

The 2014 AFF U19 Youth Championship or AFF U-19 Nutifood Cup 2014 held from 5 to 13 September 2014, hosted by Vietnam. 5 members of the ASEAN Football Federation have registered to take part in the competition, these being hosts Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and Myanmar. The 2022 Thailand Champions Cup was the 6th Thailand Champions Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Thai League 1 and Thai FA Cup. As Buriram United won both competitions in 2021–22, their opponents were the 2021–22 Thai League 1 runners-up, BG Pathum United. It was sponsored by Daikin, and known as the Daikin Thailand Champions Cup for sponsorship purposes. The match was played on 6 August 2022 at the His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary Stadium in Mueang, Nakhon Ratchasima. It has live broadcast on PPTV HD and AIS Play.
