2015 Summer North American League of Legends Championship Series (2015 Summer NA LCS) was won by Counter Logic Gaming, their first NA LCS split title. Most games were played in Los Angeles at Riot Games' studio, but the finals were played at Madison Square Garden in New York. [1]

Each annual season of play is divided into two splits, spring and summer and conclude with play-off tournament between the top six teams. At the end of the season, the winner of the summer split, the team with the most championship points, and the winner of the gauntlet tournament qualify for the annual League of Legends World Championship.

The organization previously had a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team based in Denmark and also briefly owned an Overwatch team.

Immortals is a professional esports team based in the United States that was founded on October 7, 2015, after the acquisition of the NA LCS spot of Team 8. They used to compete in the North American League of Legends Championship Series, but were declined entry for the 2018 season, despite being one of the three teams from the LCS to qualify for the 2017 League of Legends World Championship. Immortals has since expanded into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Dota 2, Super Smash Bros, Vainglory, Rainbow Six Siege and Arena of Valor.

Zachary Scuderi, better known as Sneaky, is a professional League of Legends player, and prominent cosplayer, who currently plays AD Carry for Cloud9 of the League of Legends Championship Series North America. He won the 2013 Summer NA LCS and 2014 Spring NA LCS with Cloud9. On July 17, 2015 he was listed as a sub for Cloud9's Challenger Series team.

The 2016 Spring North American League of Legends Championship Series is the fourth season of the North American League of Legends Championship Series. The spring split began on January 16, with a rematch of the 2015 NA LCS Summer playoff finals between Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming. Most matches were played at a film studio in Sawtelle, Los Angeles, California. The finals were played in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Zaqueri Black, better known by the name Aphromoo, is an American professional League of Legends player. As of 2018, he plays in the Support position for the team 100 Thieves in the North American League of Legends Championship Series. Aphromoo won the 2018 Spring Split MVP award, the first time in that award's history it has gone to a Support player.

Jake Kevin Puchero, known simply as Xmithie is a Filipino-American professional League of Legends player who is currently the jungler for Team Liquid of the North American League of Legends Championship Series. Xmithie won the 2015 Summer Split and the 2016 Spring Split of the North American League of Legends Championship Series with CLG.

Jason Tran, known in-game as WildTurtle, is a Canadian professional League of Legends player in the North American League of Legends Championship Series. Christopher Kjell Mykles, better known by his nickname MonteCristo, is an esports color commentator and analyst. He is also the founder of esports organization Renegades. He gained prominence whilst working with League of Legends, most notably as an English-language commentator for OnGameNet, broadcaster of the LCK, from 2012 through 2016. In addition, he also worked on the broadcast team for the League of Legends World Championship from 2013 to 2015. In 2013 and 2014, he was the coach of Counter Logic Gaming. He is currently employed as a shoutcaster for the Overwatch League.

Terry Chuong, better known as BIG is an American player who is currently a support for Optic Gaming of the North American League of Legends Championship Series. He has been previously known as both Baby and Babyeator.

Diego Ruiz, better known as Quas, is a Venezuelan League of Legends player who plays top laner for Tempo Storm. He previously played for Team Liquid, Team Curse, and NRG Esports.

The 2017 Summer North American League of Legends Championship Series split is a combination of the regular summer season, the promotion tournament, the playoffs, and the regional qualifiers. The 2017 regular summer season was a round robin between all the NA LCS teams. The promotion tournament was played between the bottom NA LCS teams and the top Challenger Series (CS) teams. The playoffs was played between the top NA LCS teams which determined the champion of the NA LCS and seeding for Worlds. After the playoffs, the regional qualifiers was the final chance for a NA LCS team to get a seat for Worlds.

The 2018 Spring North American League of Legends Championship Series split is the sixth season and eleventh split of the North American League of Legends Championship Series, the highest level of professional League of Legends play in North America.
