The 2016 Women's Junior NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the tenth edition of the bi-annual tournament. It was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 26 July to 31 July, and featured eight teams. The Dominican Republic won the tournament and qualified to the 2017 FIVB Women's Junior World Championship. [1] Dominican Natalia Martínez was awarded Most Valuable Player. [2]

The 2016 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the 15th edition of the annual women's volleyball tournament. It was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from 2 July to 10 July. Twelve teams competed in the tournament, won by the Dominican Republic when they defeated 3-2 to Puerto Rico. The United States claimed the bronze medal and Dominican Republic athlete Brayelin Martínez was awarded Most Valuable Player.

The volleyball competition at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games was held in Barranquilla, Colombia at the Humberto Perea Coliseum. The women's tournament was held from the 20 to 25 July, whilst the men's tournament was held from the 28 July to 2 August.

The 2018 Women's U23 Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the fourth edition of the bi-annual women's volleyball tournament. It was held in Lima, Peru from 14 to 19 August among eight national U23 teams.

The 2021 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 27th edition of the tournament, and was played from 26 August to 31 August 2021 in Guadalajara, Mexico. The champion and first runner-ups will qualify for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.

It was held in Tegucigalpa National Gymnasium, Tegucigalpa, Honduras from 25 August to 2 September among eight countries. The 2019 Women's Junior Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the fifth edition of the bi-annual women's volleyball tournament. Seven teams participated in this edition held in Lima. Cuba won the tournament defeating the Dominican Republic and qualified for the Women's U20 World Championship. Cuba's Ailama Cese won the MVP award.

The 2019 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 26th edition of the tournament, and was played from 8 October to 13 October 2019 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Dominican Republic defeated the United States by 3–2 to win the Continental Championship. Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic qualified for the NORCECA Olympic Qualifier, which will see the four teams compete for a spot in the 2020 Olympics. Dominican Brayelin Martínez earned the Most Valuable Player award.

The 2018 Women's Junior NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the eleventh edition of the bi-annual tournament. It was held in Aguascalientes City from 16 June to 24 June, and featured eight teams. The United States won the tournament and qualified to the 2019 FIVB Women's Junior World Championship. American Logan Eggleston was awarded Most Valuable Player.
