The 2017 MAAC women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference held from October 28 through November 1, 2017. The ten-match tournament took place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The eleven-team single-elimination tournament consisted of four rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Monmouth Hawks were the defending champions and successfully defended their title. [1]

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Its current 11 full members are located in four Northeastern states: Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland. The 2016–17 Monmouth Hawks men's basketball team represented Monmouth University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hawks, led by sixth year head coach King Rice, played their home games at OceanFirst Bank Center as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). They finished the season 27–7, 18–2 in MAAC play to win the regular season championship, their second consecutive conference title. As the No. 1 seed in the MAAC tournament, they defeated Niagara before losing to Siena in the semifinals. As a regular season conference champions who did not win their conference tournament, Monmouth received an automatic bid the National Invitation Tournament. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Siena Saints were the defending champions and were unable to defend their title, losing to the Quinnipiac Bobcats on pentalties in the semifinal. The Monmouth Hawks won the title by defeating Quinnipiac 4–0 in the final. This is Monmouth's sixth overall tournament win and fifth in the last six years. The title is also the sixth for head coach Krissy Turner. As tournament champions, Monmouth earned the MAAC's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The five-match tournament took place at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting matches. The host for the matches was determined by seeding from regular season play. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Monmouth Hawks were the defending champions and were unable to defend their title, as they moved conferences to the Colonial Athletic Association beginning in the 2022 season. The Quinnipiac Bobcats won the title by defeating Niagara 4–0 in the final. This is Quinnipiac's first overall tournament win in program history. The title is also the first for head coach Dave Clarke. As tournament champions, Quinnipiac earned the MAAC's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.

The 2022 MAAC men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference held from November 6 through November 13, 2022. The five-match tournament took place at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting matches. The host for the matches was determined by seeding from regular season play. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Marist Red Foxes were the defending champions and were unable to defend their title, after a seventh place regular season finish did not qualify them for the tournament. Regular season champion and top seed Quinnipiac would go on to win the tournament, defeating second seed Iona 3–2 in the final. This was Quinnipiac's second overall tournament win and first since 2013. Both of their titles have come under head coach Eric Da Costa. As tournament champions, Quinnipiac earned the MAAC's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.
