The 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards was held on May 7, 2017, from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, U.S. [1] It was the 26th edition of the awards, and for the first time it presented honors for work in television as well as cinema; it was also the first time men and women competed jointly in the acting categories since 2007. [2] The awards ceremony was hosted by Adam DeVine and broadcast on numerous Viacom channels, MTV.com, and the MTV app on mobile devices.

The ceremony was preceded by the "Movie & Television Festival". It was a day-long event that was held outside the Shrine Auditorium and featured live performances by Bea Miller, All Time Low, and Zara Larsson; plus red carpet appearances by celebrities. [3] Issa Rae served as the announcer for the event.

Adele's "Hello" was the most nominated video with seven categories. This marked the 33rd edition of the live broadcast. Beyoncé led all winners with nine awards. Rihanna received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award after performing several medley numbers during the ceremony. Britney Spears marked her first performance at the awards show since the heavily criticized 2007 show nine years prior. Beyoncé won eight awards to bring her career total of wins to 25 VMAs, overtaking Madonna's previous record of 20 awards, making her the artist with the most wins in the history of the award show.

The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour 2016 is a national holiday tour by iHeartMedia, which began on November 29, 2016 in Dallas at the American Airlines Center. The tour ended on December 18, 2016 in Sunrise, Florida at the BB&T Center. The performance in New York City on December 9 benefited the Robin Hood homeless charity fund. It is the second highest grossing Jingle Ball Tour of all time following the Jingle Ball Tour 2014.

The 2017 Billboard Music Awards ceremony was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 21, 2017. The list of nominees was announced on April 10, 2017. Non-televised awards were announced on Billboard website the same day as the main ceremony.

"Hey Ma" is a song recorded by American rapper and singer Pitbull and Colombian singer J Balvin, featuring vocals from fellow Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello, taken from The Fate of the Furious movie soundtrack (2017). It was co-written by the artists, while co-produced by Sermstyle, T-Collar, and Pip Kembo. There are two versions of the song; one in Spanish and one in English. Music videos were directed for both versions of the song by American director Gil Green, with the Spanish video premiering on March 10, 2017 and the English video on April 7.

The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards was held on August 20, 2018 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The 35th annual award show aired live from the venue for the 12th time, the most of any previous venue in its history. Cardi B led the list of nominees with twelve nominations. Cardi and Childish Gambino were the most awarded of the night with three each. Camila Cabello won Video of the Year and Artist of the Year, while Jennifer Lopez became the first Latin artist to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. This edition of the MTV Video Music Awards saw yet another severe drop in ratings, only achieving a mere 2.2 million viewers on MTV, and only seeing 4.87 million viewers on all of its sister networks.

The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards was held on June 16, 2018, from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, U.S. and was broadcast on June 18, 2018. Similar to the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, the event was not aired live and was pre-recorded on June 16 prior to its June 18 broadcast date. It was the 27th edition of the awards and the second to jointly honor movies and television. The ceremony was hosted by Tiffany Haddish.

The 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs were held on August 26, 2018 outside 299 Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Unlike previous years, the 2018 show aired live at the end of August instead of Father's Day. It was hosted by Awkwafina.

<i>Drax Project</i> (album) 2019 album by Drax Project

Drax Project is the debut studio album by New Zealand band Drax Project, released in September 2019. The album follows the release of their single "Woke Up Late" (2017), which was re-released in early 2019 as a new version featuring Hailee Steinfeld. The band's collaboration with Six60, "Catching Feelings", was released as a single just prior to the album, and became a hit in Australia and New Zealand.
