This article describes the qualification for the 2019 Women's European Volleyball Championship. [1]
Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Turkey as host nations were directly qualified. The eight best placed teams at the 2017 edition also gained direct entries into the tournament. 24 teams had registered for participation and compete for the remaining 12 places at the final tournament. The 24 teams were divided into six groups of four teams. The group winners and runners-up will advance to the final round.

There being six pools of four teams each, the winners and runners-up of each pool will qualify for the 2019 Women’s EuroVolley. The groups will be played in a home and away round-robin format from August 2018 to January 2019. The pool composition results from the latest European Ranking for men’s and women’s national teams – as of September 4 and October 2, 2017, respectively – with teams being placed across the pools according to the serpentine system.

The men's beach volleyball tournament at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, United Kingdom, took place between 28 July and 9 August at Horse Guards Parade.
The 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship was held in Turkey for ten days, from 22 August to 1 September 2013. This was the first edition of the tournament that features 20 teams.
The 2015 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 12 to 20 May 2015. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament and served as the Asian qualifier for the 2015 Men's U23 World Championship to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which the top two teams qualified for the world championship. Iran won the tournament and Purya Fayazi was the most valuable player.

The final tournament was held in Japan from 29 September to 20 October 2018. The final four was held at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama.
The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship was the 19th staging of the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The final tournament was held in Italy and Bulgaria from 9 to 30 September 2018. For the first time, the tournament was jointly-hosted by more than one country. The final six was hosted by Italy at the Pala Alpitour in Turin.
The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 24th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 teams from 3 June to 10 July 2016. The Group 1 final round was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Brazil captured their record eleventh title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over defending champions United States. In the bronze medal match, The Netherlands prevailed in five sets over Russia. Natália Pereira was elected the most valuable player.

The tournament was held in Lecce and Marsicovetere, Italy from 5 to 13 September 2020.
