Jonathan Joseph "Johnny" Sauter is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 13 Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing. Sauter is the son of former NASCAR driver Jim Sauter, the brother of NASCAR drivers Tim Sauter and Jay Sauter, and the uncle of Travis Sauter. He is the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion.

The race was originally going to be held at Eldora Speedway for the Eldora Dirt Derby, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NASCAR was forced to move the race to Kansas City, Kansas and give Kansas Speedway, a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) permanent D-shaped oval racetrack, a temporary third date. The race was held on Saturday, October 17, 2020. The race was extended from the scheduled 134 laps to 139 laps due to a NASCAR overtime finish. After a final restart that was caused by Zane Smith wrecked while trying to pass the leader Brett Moffitt, Brett Moffitt with 2 to go would pull away from the field and win his 12th career NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series win, and the first and only win of the season. To fill out the podium, Sheldon Creed of GMS Racing and Austin Hill of Hattori Racing Enterprises finished second and third, respectively.

The race was extended from its scheduled 147 laps to 152 laps due to a late race wreck caused by Ben Rhodes turning Christian Eckes; much to the dismay of Eckes, Eckes would give Rhodes a double middle finger the next time Rhodes went by his car. At race's end, Sheldon Creed of GMS Racing would dominate and win the race, the 4th of the season and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series career win. To fill out the podium, Austin Hill of Hattori Racing Enterprises and Zane Smith of GMS Racing would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The race took the scheduled 200 laps to complete. After a wild restart with 2 to go, Grant Enfinger of ThorSport Racing would pull away to win his 4th and final NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series win of the season, and his 6th career win in the series. To fill out the podium, Ben Rhodes of ThorSport Racing and Zane Smith of GMS Racing would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
