Campaign

Danene Sorace was unopposed in the Democratic primary held on May 18, 2021. She advanced to the general election with 98% of the vote.

Independent Willie E. Shell, Sr., a former city council candidate, was the only contestant to appear on the general election ballot. [2] No Republicans filed to run for this race.
