The 2022 Wrestling World Cup - Men's Greco-Roman was held in Baku, Azerbaijan at the Baku Sports Palace On 5 to November 6, 2022. [2] [3] [4]
The Greco-Roman World Cup has featured an All-World team for the first time ever. [5] Serbia forfeited the tournament after a number of COVID-19 infections in the team. Azerbaijan and the All-World team will receive automatic wins. [4]

The World Wrestling Championships are the Greco-Roman Wrestling and Freestyle Wrestling World Championships organized by United World Wrestling (UWW).
Bilyal Valerievich Makhov is a Russian freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestler. He was the Russian champion in 2007 and 2010, European champion in 2010 and World champion in 2007, 2009 and 2010 in Men's Freestyle 120 kg wrestling and bronze medalist in 130 kg Greco-Roman Wrestling at the World Championships in 2014 and 2015. In 2015, he won the Russian National Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships.

The Federation was established in 1993. On December 8, 2021, an extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly of Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation was held, and Mikayil Jabbarov was elected the president of the Federation.
